We went for bottomless brunch. The food was fantastic, plates were so full and tasty. Cocktails were stunning with plenty to choose from. Can't fault them at all!

Nicely decorated in a relaxed style I have to say I was not impressed when I walked in and found two people behind the bar talking to each other and not offering to serve me. Things didn’t get much better when we were seated. It felt like the staff were going through the motions and not really interested in our experience. A good example is that the plates for dinner were good and there were no serving spoons for the vegetables. The food when it did arrive was good. We shared the Sunday lunch trio of meats. The meat was good and the vegetables ok but we thought it needed more gravy. There again no sign of anyone to ask for some. Same story with desert. Quite a long wait but the food was good when it did arrive. A very small amount of custard was supplied for the large portion of crumble. All in all. Close but not a place I will returning to in a hurry.

I've just returned from lunch at The Keys, food was ok nothing special. We ordered dessert every plate and bowl had chips out of them pics to follow. When we got the bill we had been over charged by over £30. We were charged £32 for a bottle of wine on checking thr wine menu there wasn't any wine on thr menu for £32. When challenged i was fobbed off by the till providing the wrong prices. Very disappointing after a lovely afternoon with family.

We arrived and had a couple of cocktails whilst there was a live singer entertaining everyone. And then, then the food arrived. Wow! The food was exquisite! The best muscles I have tasted in the UK. Our waitress Isobelle was fabulous, friendly, tentative and knowledgeable. A fabulous evening, but that food is to die for, cannot recommend highly enough. I will be back, it is worth the 3 hour drive. XxX

Went for a bottomless brunch. Very busy with large bookings of ladies. The place was well staffed, the food was lovely. Good range of options. Some delicious cocktails to choose from though not a massive range. Can't fault what we had for the price. A fantastic way to get together with friends in a lovely, welcoming environment

Great meal out since the renovations. The soup starter was delicious and I had keys burger which was tasty, the other two main meals was nice too. Price is a little expensive for portion sizes but the pub as a whole has a nice cosy setting

Went to the keys for lunch today, just happen to see on a map and it was the place for me to meet my daughter for lunch. The lunch menu was not over complicated. I chose the Guinness steak pie, whow what a whopper lovely tender meat within a beautiful short crust pastry, served with triple cooked chips and mushy peas, more peas please. Fish and chips was had by my wife and granddaughter, very good they said, my daughter had burger which said really tasty. Others in the keys ordered rolls which came with chips, not for those who want a light lunch. Fantastic food good service, if I lived closer it would be a regular place to go to. Please try the keys I don't think you will be disappointed.

A lovely Sunday lunch. We called in on the off chance and received great service for a great price. It was much quieter than we would have expected at 12.30pm but that was no reflection on the place.

We've eaten here tonight with friends. We booked a table in advance, it was very busy. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered braised beef short rib, mashed potatoes and red cabbage. The beef could have done with cooking longer it was tough, the meat should have fallen off the bone. My husband had steak pie, he said it was lovely but they didn't have any vegetables to serve with it...sold out of peas and no other veg on offer. Our friends both enjoyed the meals they ordered. We all had a sweet and we all enjoyed what we had. All together we spent just over £150. It was quite noisey and very hot. There is a car park at the back and the toilets were clean. A nice relaxing atmosphere, I would consider eating here again to give it another try.
