Wednesday is steak night, we both had sirloin cooked exactly how we wanted it and a bottle of wine £31.99. My only criticism is I felt £4.25 was a lot for peppercorn sauce.

A random choice as we were in the area and tried on the off chance. On arrival the carpark was busy but there was still spaces available, we were greeted warmly by the member of staff behind the bar. We had time to peruse the menu and didn't feel rushed. Ordered the fish and chips, chicken gyros and a portion of onion rings. I then amended my order to take off feta, this was done without issue. There was a short wait for food (20ish mins) however we were absolutely fine with this wait as the pub was busy. The food arrived and the portions were very generous and plentiful. The food items were hot and exceeded our expectations in all ways. We struggled to finish our mains. We will definitely be back. Overall our food spend was £36.85. Excellent value for money, especially for the quality and quantity.

I came across this wonderful little pub by accident. What a wonderful place it is, out looking for food we decided to go in here (no other options) and thank goodness. The steak and ale pie was ordered. What a choice there really are no words to describe how good it was. Filled to the brim with steak, a most beautiful pastry and served with the best home cooked chips i have ever had. This wonderful gem of a Yorkshire pub is a must to visit ..

The food here is brilliant. Portion size compared to price is also great value for money. I think sitting in the bar area is nice and cosy rather than the restaurant if there is only a few of you. Always great service too.

We booked a table for 12 and ordered a variety of meals. The staff were polite and attentive. All the food was hot, plentiful and tasty. Prices as good as can be expected for decent food. A very enjoyable evening would highly recommend.

Beautiful tasty food. Good portion sizes. Friendly staff. Welcoming, cosy atmosphere. Reasonable prices. I didn't book a table so we sat in the bar area. There is a restaurant area too. Definately worth a visit. Car park at rear of the pub.
