   These people are absolute sharks. Their customer service stinks - be warned. Despite cancelling in advance due to ill health (with a doctor's certificate) they charged me full price and would not entertain any alternative such as moving the date or letting someone stay in my place. Avoid at all costs!

   We came from Malta and the Czech Republic to attend a wedding in Sheffield. We stayed in the Manor House Hotel for two nights. We were one hour early for the check-in, but the room was ready. The room was very clean. The breakfast was to die for! Poached eggs and avocado on toast were the highlight of our day. Both evenings we had dinner in the Blue Stoops pub that is literally next door. We were very satisfied and we recommend the hotel to everyone who needs accommodation in the area. Thank you!

   Had a three night break to visit the Peaks. Hotel is in a fairly quiet spot in Dronfield but with a great restaurant next door. Has a bar and an outdoor bar seating area in the car park. Managed to park in the hotel car park each night but free parking available very close if needed. Room was quiet with tea and coffee on hand. The bed was a bit short but other than that was comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was very compact and a bit like walking into a wardrobe. The shower dripped when off and the temperature was fairly constantly hot. The breakfasts were excellent and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.

   This place was full of kids. Asked me to pour my quarter pint in to a plastic cup to leave toward end of night (I’m mid 30’s). Told the staff I’ve never been told to pour a pint in to a plastic cup ever before. In response off-duty staff were then aggressive and received unnecessary swearing from this group.

   Really nice local hotel but noisy floorboards. Comfortable and clean with everything needed for making tea/coffee (plus one cup of hot chocolate), TV, iron and board, rail and coat hangers, en suite shower and toilet with hand and bath towels, bath mat and sachets of shampoo and body wash (though the shower's hot water took 3 min to work). There was a desk, chair and bedside table. The bed was comfortable for me, with two pillows so you can choose a tall or flatter pillow. There's no food service during the evening as they're in the middle of Dronfield with lots of options available but breakfast is included. I had an omelette, toast and coffee, which was lovely. The breakfast menu has prices but that's for non-staying visitors and while you can choose anything, I don't think it's all you can eat! The only negative was from inside room 5, I could hear every footstep of the guest in the room above. I don't think they were particularly heavy or heavy footed, but the floorboards transmitted or amplified every creak and groan. I was woken up 2hrs early and only had 6hrs good sleep, so one star docked.

   Just got back from a 2 night stay and the staff were friendly and welcoming, the full place was very clean from top to bottom . The room was well equipped and the bed was comfy ,I had 2 good nights sleep ,the only issue's I had im 6ft2 and felt i was crouching down as the ceiling was very low and the water just trickled out of the shower . The bar had a good atmosphere with plenty of choice of drinks and the Guinness was Excellent. The Breakfast was outstanding with a great menu to choose from ,I had a full English one day and the Eggs Benedict . I would recommend .
