   Party of 16 booked for 1.00pm, not over busy but didnt start getting food till nearly 2.00pm. Eventually 3.30pm we were finished.. Food only average. Three of us had Hunters Chicken which was poor. as the chicken was extremely tough, nearley uneatable. Would have sent them if we were on own. Puddings pre ordered were not avaible so had to change choice.Will avoid going again

   A beautiful pub tucked away down a winding country lane on the edge of the Dales, arrived at 1pm to a lovely open fire having been on a long dog walk, the Sunday roast was exceptional , melting beef complimented with a light fluffy Yorkshire pudding and a selection of perfectly cooked vegetables, portions werd such only one in our party had space for sticky toffee pudding dessert, service was friendly & helpful when asking about gluten free options. Highly recommend booking well in advance as by the time we left it was very busy, shall be returning, great value for money. Thank you

   The crown inn is a lovely pub. We all had Sunday roast - Turkey which was lovely. Our table was booked for 2:30pm until 4pm. We arrived early and was taken to our table immediately and then was told that there is a 40 to 45 minute wait. We were happy with that. We would have liked dessert but was told at 3:20pm that they need the table back by 3:40pm as they needed to get the table ready. We had only just finished our main meal from getting it late. I understand it’s Christmas and that everyone is busy but we felt very rushed through no fault of our own.

   My friends and I had a brilliant Sunday lunch at The Crown after a chilly walk on Blackamoor nature reserve. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and the pub was very cosy. Two of us had an excellent vegetarian dinner with at least five vegetables and seperate veggie gravey. One had turkey with all the usual trimmings. All three meals came with Yorkshire puds. We were too full for dessert. Another time....

   Lovely pub with grub, down a small road. Recommended from a pub guide book. Nice selection of beers and a good menu. Quiet when we called in on a midweek afternoon, but very popular. Plenty of seating inside and a large marquee outside. Large car park to the side and rear. Nice chat with the friendly staff.

   Pretty standard Sunday dinner . Wasn't a fan of the beef being brown all the way through , veg was over boiled and a bit tasteless, roasted beg would be better. Huge pile of mash on plate and only one roast potato. Having given my criticism however the rest was good, stuffing and Yorkshire's were great. Most people would think it was ok.

   Had great sunday roast today, just like home made and excellent value. The kids meals were massive and went down great guns by my two grandsons. A really friendly atmosphere, excellent staff and service. Will be going again and again.

   Lovely pub, good staff, roast dinner was average. Beef was tough, veg was overcooked. Banging mashed potatoes though! Would probably try again.
