Had a great evening with my girlfriend last night. Service was prompt and friendly, attentive without being too much (shout out to Tia who was lovely). Menu was a good mix between pub grub and more a la carte/restauranty dishes. Not the cheapest, but still good value - they're using good quality ingredients and taking care over the cooking and presentation. Loved it. We'll be back

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch here. The food was delicious, good portions and beautifully presented. Service was exemplary and our server went above and beyond to find cranberry sauce in October. A very enjoyable atmosphere, everyone was having a wonderful time. The decor is lovely and the views across the cricket field were stunning. A huge thank you to the team, and I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Food was good, but not the five star I'd give to some other pubs nearby. Several tables have some really awkward tall benches for seats, not really suitable for an adult. The service was lovely.

We had an anniversary party here on a Saturday evening. Amazing service, food and event. Sophie helped us so much with arranging it beforehand, menu, decorating, DJ, cake. Lorna and staff on the night were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. 36 for a meal, bespoke menu, impeccable timing and service, tasty, hearty food. See photos - onion bhaji, oxtail arancini, herb crusted salmon, beef shin and ale pie and Cricket burger - proper tasty! Bar staff excellent too, great selection of Thornbridge and guest beers. Would highly recommend for an event or just a nice beer and meal. Thank you the Cricket Inn!

Really enjoyed our visit. Came with our dog and everyone was super kind - even when she got a bit hyper and spilled water everywhere. Food was amazing and they also had a good selection of alcohol free drinks including mocktails and an alcohol free sparkling wine!

Always a favourite for Sunday Dinner! Great size portions and quality of food. The sides are too tempting but beware.. there is a lot of food! Pies are great - they do a pie deal on a Tuesday evening, pie and a drink for £13 which is great value for a cheap mid week eat. Can’t beat sitting out the back on a sunny day overlooking the cricket pitch with a pint of Thornbridge Lukas! Make sure you book!

What a great rural pub with high quality traditional and progressive cask and keg beers. The Sunday lunch menu had some great options and the food quality was of the highest standard. The apricot stuffed pork belly was sourced locally and cooked to perfection. My wife went for the vegetarian option and said it too was one of the best Sunday lunches she had ever had. I'm now looking forward to Tuesday Pie Night for my next visit. Please note the early bird menus are really good value for money but generally the prices here are restaurant prices as is the food quality.

This is a pub to stop by if in the area. We had a family meal out which was good. The main feature here is the cricket field, particularly nice when the weather is good. The only advice from me here is to book your table in advance! No photos of the outside area this time as we were sitting inside, which is equally pleasant. Will come back!

An absolutely fantastic experience! The quality of the food, drink and service was exceptional. We had a party of 11 and one toddler. Everyone was accommodated for. My 93 year old Grandma was allowed to wait until the day to decide if she was going to feel up to attending. We had people in our party cancelling and rebooking. Sophie went well over and above to ensure the day went smoothly. And the food was particularly impressive. From the champagne and canapés to the breakfast goodie bags we left with. I honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else in the future.
