If I could do zero stars I would. The service and food was awful. I tried letting a server know twice and each time we got ignored. As soon as we walked in the first woman ignored us speaking in her own language. We eventually got seated. The woman who came to take our order was rude. Rushing us to make our order. No polite chitchat as in how are you nothing. Our drinks came 10 mins after our soup with lovely bugs and the soup had dirt in it clearly can be seen on picture attach. The crispy meat broke my sisters tooth and the prawn toast had no filling. The spring rolls was bland and clearly frozen and rushed. The only ok thing was the chicken wings but again not the best. When we tried to speak to someone magically couldn't understand us until we HAD to pay and even then there was 4 of them around us. Card machine was slammed at us at till. Not impressed will be reporting and also getting a refund £47 for that is ridiculous and definitely not worth it

A been in many Chinese restaurants in town, but this one goes directly to top 3. Delicious food, excellent portions, amazing price. Perfect Chinese restaurants. I definitely recommend to anyone. Staff friendly and cool atmosphere

The food here is not bad—they use really fresh ingredients, so I guess it counts as authentic Chinese food? Most of the diners seem to be Chinese students, after all. Unfortunately, the dishes are always way too salty and spicy, so I end up chugging water nonstop. Besides bringing out the food, the waitstaff barely provide any other service—I have to keep getting up to refill my water glass. That’s why I’m confused about what the service charge is actually for.

Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy the meal I had here with my family, as most of the dishes were too spicy for my taste. The food also didn’t taste very authentic. For example, we ordered 回鍋肉, but the meat looked and tasted more like bacon. The color of the 酸辣湯 we ordered didn’t look quite right, but it tasted normal. Overall, the meal was also a bit pricey. However, the staff were very nice and welcoming.

We were there early. We got there at 3:50pm. The manager came over to let us know that the chefs and staff will be eating from 4pm until 4:30pm or if you order now then we cook for you quickly. So I said that's not a problem, we are happy to wait until you guys finish your meal but could we order drinks now while looking at the menu... half of menu dishes were out of stock. Not a lot of choices. I also asked about the Beijing duck, if we could have the duck leg chopped and serve with the slices of duck... the manager said he never seen this happen before. So I replied, in Hong Kong and other places they do this for us. Then he said nothing and said I'll check if any Beijing duck. He didn't get back to us to let us know. Then a waitress came over and spoke Mandarin so I replied back in Cantonese and she didn't understand so I spoken English and she still didn't understand... Anyway the food came within 5 minutes. That's never a good sign if food is served to you so quick after ordering... before eating one member of staff was smoking inside because can smell it strong. While eating all of the staff were at the bar area and some sat down at the table on the tablets. Not one of them came round to check if everything was ok. I even had to take my empty tea pot over the one of the staff to ask for top up. When we left, not one of them said thank you, goodbye see you next again. As a Chef, I can clearly see they didn't get you a full Beijing duck while they charge you £36.80 for it. The main course dishes were small especially the ribs in OK sauce. The other pork dish, the pork were small pieces and can't even taste the sauce. The dan dan noodles had more beansprouts than noodles. Was so disappointed. This place is not recommended and waste of a journey and a meal

We went to this place for a Mother’s Day dinner with a pre-ordered Peking duck. The duck was finished with two dishes: the normal slices which is standard but with the second dish of deep fried bones was presented in a special crispy way. The vegetables were good, shrimp toast was excellent too, the dessert of rice wine brewed small dumplings was disappointed as there’s no winery taste at all. Generally speaking this restaurant was satisfactory, the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. I would give this place an overall rating of 70 out of 100, or B grade overall. Would definitely come back again.

Friendly staff. We turned up 10 minutes before the kitchen was to close, yet they still welcomed us in. Big portions of food, normally get half that amount in other restaurants. Food was good, just missing that little bit of extra oomph to really hit the spot.

Fantastic place! We went for my friends birthday. And dispite there was 13 of us the staff accommodated extremely well. It's a well decorated place and the food was beyond ratings! Will definitely go again. It was our first time trying this place and definitely will not be our last.. A few of us said we will definitely go back again some day soon even if its not a birthday and just a couple friends having a meal out.
