Come here now and then for the meat biryani which i think is fantastic, definitely done well. However, I’ve knocked off 2 stars because the mint sauce had gone bad and ruined a plate of the rice. Please check your sauces, it’s letting your food down which is otherwise very nice.

I came here because I wanted to try some Curry and chips, and the staff are se lovely and the man who made my order he made sure my order was exactly how I liked it every step of the way once I got my food they offered if I wanted to go next door to sit down and have my food, but after that, I just went home the portion size was a really good size and I definitely had some leftover for lunch for the next day. I recommend coming to this place if you’re in Leeds.

Curry is nice. Their Onion Bhaji is unique and crispy. Family restaurant in the heart of Leeds. Recommended for curry lovers.

Best lamb briani and best chicken curry's in Leeds for a very good price!!! I've been ordering food there for many years and is always great! Tried many other places( inculding Mumtaz - not saying was bad) but always going back to Zam zam for traditional food! Really good service too :)

Absolutely shocking food quality and service. On arrival 2 cooks was having a heated debate which made made me feel uncomfortable. Asked for itemised receipt once I had paid as I was well aware I had been overcharged from the menu price. Think he thought I was drunk until I questioned the amount. Gave me back the overpayment in cash. Chicken balti was dry and tasted of nothing. Mushroom bajis pre fried and then fried again was just fat and batter mushroom had disappeared. Garlic Naan bread was just dry with no hint of garlic butter or garlic flavour as with previous comments dry and had holes in... was chewwy beyond belief. For the price your paying I would stay well away from here and just order from your local takeaway for delivery. No wonder the restaurant side of the business (eat in) is always dead, need to address food quality and service.

Garlic naan was so dry and hard it was inedible. Pizza base was so thick the dough could of made three regular pizzas, didn't say it was deeppan or anything. Very stodgy and bland. The chicken burger was fine and the curry was OK, but the chicken in it quite dry.

Tasty meat buhna but small portion size The just eat menu didn’t show all the dishes plus we ordered an extra chapati since the menu didn’t state if any rice or naan came with it. The tandoori roti was nice. They did give us a salad and sauce though. Delivery could have been better since we were only 5 mins away but had to wait for nearly an hour. Also the menu didn’t state halal so had to ring and check.

Been coming here since 2009, food is good but its always a hit and miss depending on who's cooking and also who is working. Don't think there's much communication between the waiting staff in the restaurant and people working in the kitchen therefore resulting in difference in same food every so often. Prices are ever changing as well, few times I've experienced different price for the same food order. Hope they get things sorted inside.
