   Had a fantastic meal yesterday. The mixed platter starter is really good and lots of it. Most of our group had biryani which I tasted and was good. I had the chicken curry which was very tasty but could've had more chilli. All in all a very nice meal. The waitress was fantastic and explained things on the menu we didn't understand and was very helpful and attentive. Very good service. The thing that could be improved is the atmosphere. It was quite cold and would benefit from the AC being warmer although it didn't ruin things. It would also benefit from a little background music. It was very quiet. All in all it was very good though

   I had an amazing experience at Veppura! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic South Indian flavours and brought back memories of the authentic flavors I enjoyed in Kerala. The garlic naan was perfectly fluffy and full of flavour, and the chili beef was deliciously spicy and tender. The staffs was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine taste of South India. I'll definitely be coming back!

   We had a good lunch here. They served us even though we reach near to the closing time. Many options available. All the food we ordered was tasty. The owners were very polite and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

   Came here in the evening for food. The masala dosa was incredible. Very authentic. The service from our waitress was friendly and helpful, and helped us to make our food choices. Good value for money. Will definitely return!

   I don't know why folk go to the usual suspects in Huddersfield - the latest excellent Indian is Veppura on Cross Church Street. Beats spots off the tired competition. The food is excellent, fresh and plentiful. My beloveds dosa was crispy fresh and tasted perfect. While I had the beef and potato which was delicious. The place is a south India style place and tasted as we remembered it from visiting. This part of India eats beef hence the beef curry. Unlicensed but we were happy with coke and a delicious thick mango lassi - more solid than a drink really but the yoghurt went well with the spicy. Our meal came in at a very frugal £30 for the two of us - shared veg bhaji to start - again very tasty and fresh, and our meal was well enough to fill us with a nice naan bread. Very pleasant venue and a lovely family running the place - my new favourite Huddersfield curry place. Try it out!
