Very disappointed after hearing alot of good things about this place. Curry was extremely runny and had no consistency whatsoever. About 5 cubes of lamb inside the tikka masala. Wouldn't order again
I wouldn't recommend ordering from Westhoughton Tandoori. Order via Uber Eats for the first time and it was quite literally the worst curry I've ever tasted. The naan bread was soggy and didn't taste fresh the curry was watery and tasteless with hardly any meat. The meat was also awful, there's plenty of excellent Indian takeaways around but this is one to avoid.
Sent the wrong order which I paid for at the door at 9.30pm. I phoned the shop to inform them that they had made a mistake and sent the wrong order and I was shouted at and belittled by “the manager” who told me that the driver had delivered the wrong meal. He then lied and said he wasn’t the manager. The driver came back and demanded that we pay again for the meal to be delivered which obviously we didn’t. I phoned the shop again to ask for a refund which was refused. Again, the guy on the phone shouted over me so I put the phone down. He then continued to ring my phone constantly harassing me until after 11pm. I will never order from here again. £33 of food which I was allergic to was thrown away and the abuse I received was simply awful. Scary stuff for a woman to receive unwanted and intimidating phone calls until 11pm. They are very lucky that I didn’t get the police involved.
Had delivered+delivery driver was brilliant. Would rate him 10/10, really nice guy. Food was ok, plenty of it but chips were cold+nan was hard. Originally when I rang to order the guy who answered the phone didn't sound very happy then when I rang back after the meal to compliment the driver he was just the same+didn't sound interested. No thanks, nothing.
I've been trying to find a decent curry for a while and now ive found one I'm sticking to. From the moment I walked in the staff was polite right up to leaving service I've never had before from anywhere. I had a chicken organ josh with garlic rice and compared to everywhere else I've tried I was very Impressed the chicken pieces are massive the rice perfect my go to curry house from now on. Even the misses who is hard to please was pleased. Thank you to all the staff for amazing food
Poor quality, no flavour, the meat was rock hard and smelled awful. Would not recommend
Great place. First time we tried here and will be ordering from here from now on. Even changed one of the curries for us on our set meal. Piping hot when it came. Cheers guys.
Very efficient. Used the online ordering platform which was very easy. Food was ready when it said it would be. Very fresh and hot. Will be returning .
