We have travelled for 3 weeks in the UK, and this pub by far has the best atmosphere, food and bar we have been to! Paul and the team are super friendly, welcoming and full of laughs. Wonderful hospitality! Did I mention the food was delicious! Thanks from Paul and Al.
We had an absolutely wonderful visit to The Cock O’ Budworth. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly – nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour, clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Portions were generous without sacrificing on taste, and everything came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. It’s the kind of menu where you’d happily try absolutely everything. The atmosphere is warm, traditional, and inviting – exactly what you want from a country pub. Combined with the excellent service, it made for a really enjoyable and relaxing meal. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. If you’re looking for delicious food, great service, and a proper pub experience, The Cock O’ Budworth is hard to beat.
We had a wonderful visit whilst staying in the area. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, I can highly recommend the lasagne. The range of beer was very impressive and they are super tasty, my husband loved the bitter and I loved the diamond lager. I only wish we lived closer, 2 hours drive is a bit far for a pint. Thank you to everyone and we will be sure to visit again next time we’re in the area.
Just stumbled across this lovely country pub. Really friendly staff and nice menu and could accommodate allergies such as coeliac without issue. Food was nice. Amazing outdoor space and childrens play area so good for families. Excellent cask ale as well.
West had a great afternoon here. Our servers, Connor and Corey were really helpful and polite. The food was excellent! Plenty of onsite parking, large garden, dog friendly - we will definitely return soon

Accompanied by my daughter and son-in-law, we celebrated my wife's birthday at this wonderful pub today. Our first meal there since the reopening, and it did not disappoint. Wonderful staff, wonderful food, and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. Steve Corbett
We had a misunderstanding over our order and the dessert took a while arriving which was reflected in being given it for free but the food was amazing as were the management and staff. Well worth a visit and we will definitely be returning when in the area.
Sunday roast was good, choice of Beef, ham or turkey or mixed, which I had, we both had the banoffe Sunday which was really good. I'd give the place a go if you're in the area.
