I've travelled a lot and always rate places by a common dish. The Biryani from here is nothing less than exquisite. They even serve it with a thin omelette, which is the magic touch. Just a shame I'm not local, but I will make an effort to return when I'm next in the area.
This may well still be the best Indian take away I’ve had, still go every time I’m home to see my parents and it’s always great. The Grameen is a beautiful dish with loads of veg and spice that I haven’t seen anywhere else.
Been going here for years (never thought I'd get to write one of these reviews) and haven't been for a while now but it was delicious and exceptional as always. Fantastic service, great value with hearty portion size. If I could I'd make the journey each time for this fabulous feast but we sadly live too far away. Perfection!
We ordered the Signature dish, Rogan Josh and some sides. It was so delicious, really generous portions and very good quality - especially the chicken. Staff are really nice and kitchen is very clean. Strongly recommend!
Been here many times but tonight was very disappointing. I would normally accept that they were having a bad night but to argue the toss is not acceptable. Sadly lots of waste specially when we're not fussy! Update - management quickly followed up on poor review - good to see how they are responsive so have bumped up my star rating.
Great food. Friendly staff. Kitchen can be seen, looks very clean and tidy. They will make gluten free and dairy free dishes which is fantastic. Lovely fresh ingredients and great authentic taste (not full of pepper which happens at some establishments). Reasonable pricing and good sized portions. Brilliant. Don't mind a bit of a wait if it means my order is being freshly prepared.
The best Dansak I have ever tasted. Great food, great service. Clean, fresh and delicious food. We have always had incredible tasting dishes from Eastern Balti. Nice people. Thank you!
Never had a bad meal from Eastern. Food is always excellent and reasonably priced. Service can be a little slow occasionally but always worth the wait. Been coming here for a couple of years and not found another takeaway that comes close.
Fantastic take out! Chicken Tikka Karahi, Pilau Rice and Plain Naan. Karahi dish was excellent-medium spiced, double portion tray with large portions of perfectly cooked chicken in a lovely, rich sauce. Pilau rice also in double portion tray, and a huge naan bread. Will be having curry again tomorrow, but no complaints. Don't often bother to leave a review, but felt this was worth it!
