Food was horrible and cold when it was received and all out of there packages all in the carrier bag. Chocolate doughnuts were put at the bottom of the bag with food on top. Absolutely disgusting and will not be going back there. Do not recommend
I ordered for the first time tonight. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. Our food arrived fast, everything was fresh, tasty, hot, and was good value for money. I was really Impressed with them. I called them back, to thank them. I spoken with their Chef, I think he's called Amir? He thanked me, for taking the time to give feedback. I will definitely order from Dixy Chicken again.
I actually spent £46, wish I'd read others reviews, even other half said it's not like you to read reviews after you've ordered! Pizza had no, or very very little sauce on the base, rest was ok. What was sizzling about the wings and bites? The price for the quality was all it seems, they weren't good. Gravy was biggest laugh, £2.99 for a tub not much bigger than an egg cup and yet it states large or big tub!!! Nevermind as it tasted chemical anyway, was not nice at all. Other half had some Mexican burger box thing, erm yeah not impressed £12.99 for that too! The food was warmish, but they did message to say driver on way and it felt like an age before arrival, we thought he got lost on his maybe five min journey. Anyway moral of the story is read reviews before ordering, but we didn't have anything missing as others have said and no rudeness either fortunately.
Half the order was missing. Ordered 3 different milkshakes, turned up no labels, all looked the same. No jammy dodger one as ordered all chocolate with nuts. Food was poor. Rang them to ask about the order, didn't care. Will not be going again.
Imagine getting a milkshake delivered with no straws, and then get told tough they have non. As well as half the order missing and the food as dry as the Sahara desert. Customer services shocking, food shocking. Avoid
Worst service, the online menu says one thing until you actually get your order and they say the menu has changed and you get a fraction of the food!! Way below average. Save your money and go elsewhere. ADDED: the next morning, food poisoning kicked in.
Dixy Chicken finally opened the other day and although the chicken itself was good, if not better than KFC, there were some issues which I hope are just down to opening week jitters. We decided to go opening night which we expected to busy and it was but as people were waiting well over an hour we decided to give it a try the following day. At 2pm we phoned in our order for a 12 piece Boneless Bucket to compare with KFC. We went to collect after the 30 mins but still ended up waiting 10 mins even though it wasn't busy. The chicken strips were excellent and I would definitely order them again however the 'Sides' and 'Bites' were sadly disappointing. The gravy had a very gritty texture and what looked to be like white flecks of fat which we couldn't eat and the 'Bites' which we expected to be a handful of Pop Corn chicken but were just a few pieces (around 6) on top of extra fries, this just seemed odd as the Boneless meal came with 4x fries so why would you need more? Also the meal deal was meant to come with a bottle of large drink to share we were only given 1 can. **I will update my review in a few weeks to see if the service has improved**
