A nice little Indian! It was my second time coming tonight. Lovely flavours to the curry and some less traditional curries to choose from. What let it down for me was the level of spice, medium felt like mild and hot felt like medium. Slightly over priced as well but otherwise a decent option for an Indian

Had a beautiful dinner tonight at Ashoka. Service was absolutely impeccable - the staff couldn’t do more for you! We started with the pickle tray and poppadoms which were gorgeous and at a great price. We also had a bottle of the French Sauvignon which was lovely too. The curries and rice came as a big portion and the meat fell apart it was so tender! We had to get a takeaway box - it was too good to miss. Big shoutout to Kamy! You were amazing and deserve a raise! We can’t wait to come back and bring our friends and family.

WOW!!! Came here for a graduation meal and it was amazing! The staff were so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was classy yet relaxed. The food! Wowowowowow so good! We had a range of curries between us and would recommend all of them. They also cater for your personal spice tolerance which was great. Also amazing value for money. Loved every bit of this experience wish I wasn’t leaving Sheffield so I could go again ASAP!!

Update. Ashoka continues to be our favourite Indian restaurant in Sheffield. This evening we enjoyed great service, freshly cooked super flavoursome food in a really relaxed and friendly environment-Another lovely evening at the Ashoka. Beautifully cooked and presented Indian food, served in a small and lively venue. The lamb chops were the most tender I have ever eaten, and the Taxi driver curry was really rich and tasty. The Nan breads were a perfect accompaniment to mop up the sauce. Also a good selection of beers.

This is the best restaurant in Sheffield. I went here at the weekend for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were absolutely brilliant, they really looked after us and were so helpful with the menu and really went over and above. The food was out of this world too. As Bradford lad, I know my curry and this place is honestly now my favourite restaurant. I love how the menu is not like a typical Indian restaurant. 12/10 I can't recommend this place enough. Returning as soon as I can.

Came for a meal on Saturday evening. It's a small restaurant and it was fully booked. The food was delicious, we had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Makhan-Wallah with pilau rice and 2 naans with poppadoms and pickle tray to start. The portions don't look huge but they're definitely enough. Service was really good, we weren't waiting around for someone to take our order even though they were very busy We'll definitely be going back.

Fantastic food and attentive service with some banter. Had the mixed platter along with butter naan and the Taxi driver curry. No idea why it came on a sizzler plate but it was delicious. Be warned, if you have more than one sizzler plates on those little tables, be prepared for the oil to splatter everywhere!

Had a lovely time. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive and went out of there way to make sure we had a good time and the grandchildren were made to feel special. They provided cake and a Roman candle unprompted after the meal when they heard it was our sons birthday. Highly recommended.

The best service for an Indian restaurant I've been to in a long while! Food was amazing and tasty and they'll make it to your exact preference. Drinks were very reasonably priced and Mango lassi was also nice. This is all coming from an Indian myself. The decor in this place is what sells it to everyone (unfortunately don't have photos of that)!
