We visited over the weekend for a family meal. We hadn’t pre booked but were given a beautiful table in the conservatory. The food was so tasty and high quality - it exceeded all of our expectations. The service and ambience was perfect too. We had gammon steaks and T bone steaks as well as chicken wings. Thank you!

Held my sister's baby shower here, lovely afternoon tea for 15. Absolutely delicious cakes and sandwiches. Excellent price and service. Great communication during the booking. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Food was lovely although the Seafood Bisque was a bit too salty for my taste buds. Very warm and atmospheric with a gorgeous real log fire.

We love the Vale Royal Abbey Arms because it’s a large, well-managed pub in a good location, with plenty of parking. Our dog loves it because there’s usually plenty of space in the dog-friendly dining areas and there’s even a dog menu and doggy treat station. The food is very good - I’m a particular fan of the steak and ale pie, and you can have a miniature dessert and coffee if you’ve not got room for a large portion. The service is excellent. We have been looked after several times by Ben - who is particularly thoughtful and efficient.

Just went for a beer. The Arms seemed popular with a pleasant, comfy atmosphere. A decent-sized beer garden. I had a Manchester IPA (?), which had an aftertaste, so I tried Manchester Craft Lager. It was nice, especially on a warm summer day. But at £5.90, I felt it was slightly overpriced.

Had a nice meal in there last night, our server Ebony was very bubbly and always smiling. The gentleman who sat us down was very pleasant and very helpful. It was our first time there and it was lovely food was nice. I had the chicken and my partner had the steak pie! They both were very nice! Would definitely recommend!

Great restaurant and bar. Large restaurant area and good selection of ales and lagers. The lamb shank is excellent. Falls off the bone and the gravy was also excellent. Waiter very helpful. Went to order a bottle of wine and he advised us there was a special on that night of buy 2 glasses get the remainder of bottle free. Good deal. Only downfall is it was bingo night so was quite noisy later on. Will definitely go again.

Absolutely fantastic. Staff were very welcoming and professional. They had the fireplace lit and it was very cosy. Elegantly decorated for the christmas period. The food was absolutely delicious and great value for money. I would definitely recommend and have done to friends and family. We can't wait to go back again. Thankyou very much.

Arrived late evening and it was very busy, we hadn't booked a table. We received a very warm welcome from staff who arranged a table for us after a couple of drinks. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the Vale Royal Abbey Arms for food and drink. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Close if you're staying near Delamere Forest as it's only a short walk away.
