    Called in after the ice cream farm. Was a little apprehensive after seeing the 3 star hygiene rating but decided to risk it. Really reasonable prices, friendly staff and the food was very good! We only ordered mains this time as we were in a hurry but both dishes were delicious. They weren't swimming in oil like some Indian restaurants. We tried the madras and a samber and both were spicy and full of flavour. Yes the decor is a bit dated and tired, but look past this and you will surely enjoy your visit. We will be back!

    Had a lovely dinner at Tattenhall Spice with a party of nine. The team was super friendly and made sure all our dietary needs were met, including vegan options! The food was fantastic. The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and delicious, and the Vegetable Biryani was a big hit across the table. The Naan bread was warm and soft, perfect for scooping up the tasty curries. Service was spot on despite our large group. The team kept everything running smoothly and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend Tattenhall Spice. Great food, great atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be back!

    We have been here a number of times and have not been disappointed. The food and service are excellent and prices are very reasonable for food and drink. We tend to eat early in the evening so the restaurant is fairly quite hence 4 stars for atmosphere. Recommended.

    What no plastic? :-) Fab takeaway (garlic chilli veg, tarka dhal and garlic coriander naan). Super tasty with balanced spices and generous portions (I’m stuffed in a very good way). Excellent to see good old fashioned recyclable foil trays so a plastic free takeaway which is a rare and lovely thing. Thank you.
