    Food quality was adequate, but the portion sizes are abysmal given the price. Expect to have to go somewhere else afterwards because you’ll invariably be starving. Robbers. Also missed off some items from the order.

    Came here to film a review and I've never seen a piece of fish look so bad. Not enough batter and the chips were far too soft with no crisp whatsoever. Chop suey roll and curry sauce were good though. Don't think I'll come here again

    We were passing and were looking for a chippy. We used to go to Ackies however they have now changed owners and after the last 2 meals being average with the orders wrong we needed a new chippy. This place is new. And they are having issues with the card payment system. However it worked the day we went. The food was processed quick enough but cooked. The staff were friendly and chatty. The food was excellent. 3 Cheese burgers, 3 chips & large sausages for the dog. Each price tasted properly cooked and very tasty. Not low quality burger meat, nice buns, fresh salad. Tasty. Will be back again next chippy tea ! Updated 23-03-28, still the chippy we choose to drive to. Fish chips and peas, robins lane special (burger and chips), steak pudding & chips. All very tasty. Best chippy in at Helens by far!
