Me and my friend visited this resturant last night. The staff were friendly enough at the start! My friend ordered onion bhajis which were burnt, I ordered lamb chops which over seasoned and salty. Then we oredered a chicken rogan josh as a main. Which was possibly the worst rogan josh ever, which was suggested by the waiter to try the chicken tikka rogan josh. There was no taste to the curry or the mushroom rice. So when we had tried to explain this to the waiter, we felt he was being patronising by saying we should of asked for the curry to of been cooked a certain way. And therefore I should request this on my next visit. At that point we had explained back by saying there was no authenticity in the dishes which was disappointing. Also found the staff condescending however not all. Will not visit again unfortunately

Absolutely amazing place. We've come a few times now, and have never been disappointed. 2 of us went without a reservation as it was a spur of the moment decision to come, and we were welcomed in. We got the poppadoms and vegetable samosas to start with. I was unsure what to order this time, so I asked for some recommendations and after having many dishes explained to me, I decided to try the Lahori with chicken, my partner got the Salmon Malabar. Both where absolutely DELICIOUS. We also had deserts, we got the brownie and chocolate pudding. I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was top notch, and the food was top notch. An absolute gem in St Helens.

I have high standards for an Indian restaurant and this place ticks all the boxes. The starters and warm poppadoms are delicious. The mains had a lovely balance and great amounts meat. The chips were fresh and crisp.

We really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, especially the prawn puri and the sea bass. This must be the best place to eat in St Helen's, and in my top three of all Indian restaurants across the UK. Loved the high ceilings, spaciousness and elegance of the place. The staff were really great too, attentive, friendly and good at communicating. A great evening!

Me and the better half called in without booking a table and we were accommodated straight away. By far the the best Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in the area. The staff can't do enough for you.

At 6pm, nice and busy. We really enjoyed our food here, the owner came and delivered our food personally, which was nice. The taste was lovely. Service very friendly throughout. Great experience.

Nice curry, but sat in the middle of a large room on a table for 2. Nothing worse than people walking past you left and right. Place dead by 8pm and waiter started sweeping up around us!!!!

This place, where to start, Wow....... Firstly I didn't book just walked in, no problem, just found my a table, refreshing change from some places I won't mention, I had been working and was still in my work gear, there was no snobbery, just a welcome warm smile. The guys who served us couldn't have do more, fantastic!! Now onto the food, home made, tasty, and also quite fast no messing here, everything was tasty and as you'd expect, once finished we didn't get a bill pushed in our face to get out, we just got asked if we wanted another drink! This is how you should do a restaurant! Faultless from start to finish, I couldn't leave a tip as Mrs paid on card(sneakily) so this is my tip, if you want a great restaurant, go here! Faultless 5*****
