Ordered a takeaway for the first time. The restaurant always had a good name. Food was very disappointing and low quality. Portions were small, curries very oily and runny. Rogan josh was nearly all sauce. Discount code as stated on website didn’t work. Will not be a return customer very disappointing when ordering for a family treat.
The Naan bread is like a chapati and tiny in size. The chips were undercooked and cold in the middle and were sent back to be reheated. The restaurant was cold and that's understandable due to energy costs. But the waiter then added additional costs to our bill but I could see the real amount on the screen. When i pointed this out to him and asked for a printed vat receipt then he admitted he'd just tried to rob me and gave me some money back. Please avoid this place as they are dishonest as other people have said. Please bear in mind that we were the only 2 people in the restaurant so it should have been easy to get things right.
First experienced cold food during eat out to help out and put it down to a one off but went again Feb 23 and same thing, when I complained, the waitor argued with us and we asked to speak to the owner, surprisingly..... Not available. AVOID
Food lovely as always but very disappointed in the delivery driver. I asked how much he said £25. I gave him £27...After looking at the receipt my order was only £22.05 so he lied in order to get extra cash. Disgusting I always tip anyway but to gain extra this way is awful. Trued to call the restaurant but they're obviously busy
Unfortunately not a great food experience, ordered 7 different meals and all tasted the same, not even curry based just basically a chicken and tomato stew Save your money and curry meal from Tesco, it would be more authentic
Booked a table for 5, eating early evening on a Saturday. Quick drink in the bar before being seated. Service was relaxed, friendly but professional and the time between courses was great; at no point did we feel hurried. Food was excellent and cooked perfectly. Bill was a touch over £130, which for 5 including a couple of drinks each was outstanding value.
Dined here for the first time last Saturday as our daughter has just moved to Farnworth. What a beautiful restaurant. The ambiance is lovely the food is exceptional. Indian cuisine is my favourite and Saffron you hit all the right buttons for me. Thank you to Brenda and her team for a wonderful meal x

Ordered a takeaway for 3 people. Enjoyed a beer in the bar while we waited as it took 30 minutes to make, but this was not a problem because all the food is cooked to order - even the Naan bread is fresh. A delicious meal which was thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended.
