We have been using the Rasal for nearly 20 years and they never fail us. Recently we noticed smart, new, heat insulated takeaway bags so our food arrived piping hot and as delicious as ever. Definitely our favourite Indian restaurant in the area.
Terrible ordering system on their website. Over complicated and requires log ins etc. When you have to log in after filling all the order details, it automatically resets your delivery time to ASAP. I didn’t notice it had done this, so our food has just arrived nearly an hour and a half early and will be freezing cold when we want to eat EDIT: have just started eating. Poppadoms are completely stale. Clearly not fresh. CHECK YOUR DELIVERY TIME HASN’T RESET IF YOU WANT A SPECIFIC TIME.
One of the best Indian meals I’ve ever eaten Next level quality. Friendly staff. A little on the expensive side but totally worth it.

Disappointed- we normally order from the restaurant. Thought we would try the takeaway, food arrived at time promised but the onion salad was brown and the salad didn’t seem very fresh. The quality and taste wasn’t as good as when we get delivery or the restaurant.
Overall disappointing with poor food and service and not worth the time or money. I ordered a butter chicken, which is usually a medium spiced tomato based sauce with a hint of cream through it- per their own description “cooked in exotic spice”. What arrived was a Korma, sweet with absolutely no spice and topped with almonds. When I called the restaurant to advise they had sent the wrong dish I was told “this is how our butter chicken is” even though they recognised that a usual butter chicken is not. They stated that their Korma, pasanda and Butter chicken were all the same level as “thats how our customers in Rickmansworth like it”. The onion bhajis were dry and chewy and most definitely just reheated which was the same for their naan bread. First and last time ordering from this restaurant.
