   Had a drink in here on a Thursday afternoon then returned for a meal on the Saturday with drinks, this pub is very historic bags of character & charm. Food prices are very reasonable, my gamon & chips (with fried egg & pineapple was cooked to perfection but my partner's lasagne was over cooked (almost burnt on top) we added garlic bread with cheese and that was also very over grilled wich was a shame... the service here is very good & pleasant bar staff.

   Staff were lovely and friendly. I went in with one of my friends for fish and chips and I was extremely disappointed to be given frozen chips. In addition to this the fish was mediocre. I don't think I would eat here again sadly, despite the welcome atmosphere. It was cheap and cheerful, but honestly I would rather pay a bit more for a home cooked meal.

   4 stars for lovely staff and atmosphere was good but really disappointed as prebooked a table at 6pm.... so looling forward to catch up with friends and some food. Only to be told chef had refused to take anymore orders and the wait for food was taking over an hour to serve. Young waitress finishing her shift could only apologise and directed us to other venues. Will not return

   Really happy with the food and the service! The menu is typical pub food so plenty of options to choose from. Got meals off the 2 for £15.49 deal. The fish was huge and the Katsu curry was nice. Staff are friendly and the beer garden is an impressive size.

   Didnt eat here but the beer was great! Lovely beer garden that is very large! Plenty of seating, nice atmosphere in and outside. Good music, they had a DJ on who was very friendly and i think was running the quiz. Bar staff were really nice. Parking nearby. All in all, a nice little evening!

   We went for a nice meal here for my husbands birthday in January. The pub was warm, busy and friendly. Staff were really lovely and service was very quick. Food was amazing and such a variety for a pub!! The outside looks gorgeous and we’re looking forward to being able to enjoy it in the summer £1 donation for parking, proceeds go to MacMillan. As a family affected by cancer it warmed our hearts and we knew it was going to be a fabulous place

   Service was a bit slow but friendly enough. It was cold indoors, many people were sat in coats not great when you have gone in to eat. Funky smell on the way to the toilets which is off putting. Food was ok, had Sunday roast - frozen Yorkshire puddings rather than freshly made was a let down but loads of meat. No mash just a few roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, tender stem broccoli and sliced carrots. Mini pans of gravy per meal. Outdoor beer garden looked big on way to carpark, not many seats inside. I imagine a hot day would be very busy and a different vibe. Dog friendly inside.

   Mostly amazing. Great selection of beers and other drinks. Cozy setting. Only reason why not 5 stars is it sounds like it's trying to be a club sometimes. I'm sure some people like that but stick to decent music and keep house music for clubs

   Very dog friendly pub, provided dog dinners with options! Reasonably priced and good food. Steak sauce options not quite right but would definitely visit here again.
