Had to call into Chester services due to traffic on the motorway. I’ve Never had a Leon meal before however I will be back!! Fantastic food and lovely staff. They all had smiles on their faces, very welcoming and nice to be treated in this way! Keep up the good work guys
Popped in for some food and didn’t fancy the traditional fast food outlets and wanted something freshly cooked and different. Decided on Leon and glad I did, Great variety of food, freshly cooked and really tasty. Service was brilliant and Charlie helped me decide what I wanted and checked what was suitable for a family member with allergies.
I decided to shun the usual McDonald's food and tried the alternative, a polite young lady served me a credit to the restaurant. I took a chicken burger and baked criss cross fries, it was quite tasty. The coffee wasn't bad either!. Whilst being happy to avoid Ronald McDonald, i sat down in peace and quiet.
Lovely staff at Leon Chester services, food is prepared quickly and efficiently. Seating are is constantly cleaned and bins emptied. Always love their good and hot chocolate. Frequent stops taken there for food and rest.
Glad to have this option at a service station. Love the chai latte but I didn’t enjoy the hot chocolate…it had a weird after taste/feel. The kimchi was nice. Burger was good. Waffles fries are nice, just wish they’d add more. My sister got the butternut squash salad and halloumi on side - for the price, would prefer bigger portion. Tasted good though.
Portion was small. Kids size portion. Box was half empty. When I asked about portion size, they said we do one scoop... To top it off, chips were stale. Must have been made earlier in the day. Been to other Leon chains, which have been fine.
A very tasty, healthy and hearty meal much nicer than traditional "fast food". Service was good & fast for me, but noticed after I ordered that the people queuing behind me were waiting for a long time to get served, with staff seeming to be ignoring them. I would recommend trying a rice box with slaw and a drink, you get a big hot meal, plenty of veg for a very filling and quick meal.
I ate in Leon before from London. Did not feel anything wrong. Here in Chester is another story. Looks the pics how much chicken they actually give it to you! If cost goes up, just put up price! Don't make fake concept nature food and we pay premium fast food price!
If you're going to charge near double of what McDonald's meals are then at least make sure your fries are fresh and hot. They had no normal beef burger so I settled for char-grilled chicken, which was tasteless. All I could taste were Rocket leaves. Then I tried the waffle fries - cold and soggy. Then I went for my drink - a can of diet coke.
