The food is excellent, had the Tawa for 4. Highly recommended. The staff are very nice and helpful. Thanks guys
Came as part of a family group and sat in the partitioned room to the side which gave us some privacy. We ordered two tawa specials which looked impressive when they arrived. The mixed grill tawa was our favourite but having the burgers, onion rings and chips tawa made for a varied platter of foods to tuck into. The food was was very tasty and we left stuffed!!! Perhaps a better choice of non alcoholic drinks would be my suggestion as no alcohol is served, although traditional Cha (tea) is served.
Excellent Pakistani style curry and starters. I had a delicious lamb saag home style. Good service. Note.. recent change in ownership and this seemed much better. Will return soon.
I tried their chicken Karahi which I have tried multiple times before, but there seems to be a change in chef or something as it tasted a little different although it was still good. I have also tried their tawa which was £20 for 2 but has now gone up to £25 which is fair based on inflation. However, the grill items are a hit and miss, because if they bring the kebab, lamb chops etc fresh, it tastes amazing but that has happened with on a very few occasions. Normally I would get the precooked ones which don't taste as good as the fresh ones.....
Apna Lahore is a nice place to visit for Desi food. We ordered Tawa for 3 people for £30. But it was enough for 5 people. Huge portion. Every thing was cooked perfectly. Staff was very polite. They allowed us pray downstairs. Would recommend highly.
