Had a family meal here for my mum’s 60th birthday, and the cookhouse team knocked it out of the park. Excellent food, brought out quickly, and the staff were exceptional. Would highly recommend!

Always a pleasure coming to the cookhouse, whether I'm with friends for lunch or my colleagues for a bottle of prosecco or having a family dinner with the kids, it's so versatile and the food is great. I always go for the hanging halloumi kebab and their chocolate fudge cake and they can also make my usual coffee order which is a gingerbread oat milk latte. I will never stop coming here, great local :)

Went for an early Pre Christmas brunch with my two daughters, and a friend. Had the bottomless brunch. Fabulous food and cocktails. Portion sizes were amazing. Had steak, and eggs and the steak was cooked perfectly to all 4 requirements (medium rare, medium, medium well) the starter or dessert was pancakes, waffles and cream or ice cream with maple syrup, they were delicious and once again, the portion sizes were amazing. The staff are lovely, very attentive and always smiling We weren't kept waiting long for anything. Highly recommend.

Had a family party in the Victoria suite, we had a wonderful evening. Staff couldn’t have been better especially Amelia , she’s a diamond,Nathan was very attentive too! Food was good but hot dishes lacked salt , better than salt overload though.Would recommend and we will be coming back !

Hired room for 21st birthday party. The young barmaid was fantastic and very friendly. The food that was put out for us was great. The bar maid was a credit to the management. My only concern is if your going to this pub and using function room register you car at the bar straight away so you can get 3 hrs free parking. The car park has sign that says free car park, but there is parking meters on it. We got parking fine from the company that runs car park. ( nothing to do with pub )but we got it over turned and they managed to say it was our fault in condensending way.

Pleasantly surprised by the food, some are nicer than others but the burgers, chicken stack and mushroom stack were enjoyed by my family. Halloumi fries were a bit disappointing, very thin and overcooked but overall not bad for a cheap lunch.

The renovation/decoration of this pub it's to a high standard. We went in the afternoon and the bar staff were really nice and friendly. The carvery was good but not hot. Not sure if this was just a one off, I may go once more to find out.

Nice family or couples pub. Food was really nice, and the prices are good, so didn't feel like I was getting ripped off, will Deffo be going back. If you are thinking of going for food just make sure you book first.
