   Absolutely amazing experience! The food was outstanding — fresh and flavourful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. On top of that, the value for money is unbeatable. Generous portions, great quality, and very reasonable prices. Easily one of the best local Chinese restaurants around — I’ll definitely be back!

   Called in for an early dinner with friends in November 2025. Our friends had been before, but we were first time visitors. Some off-street parking outside was really helpful, and although the first impression of the entrance stairwell wasn’t great, on arrival at the actual restaurant upstairs the place was clean and very nicely laid out, with an okay décor/ vibe. We were allocated an ideal table in the corner, which was appreciated. Staff were polite and attentive throughout, and although we were slow to order we didn’t feel rushed at any point. Serving staff were friendly, and happy to answer questions and make some excellent recommendations on the banquet menus. We opted for a banquet option and all portion sizes were good, well cooked and presented. Would recommend, and would go again if in the area.

   I have been going this restaurant for years. And it only gets better all the time. It is a lovely comfortable relaxed atmosphere and the food is always spot on. My favourite the special chow mein. Also the tea time special meals are really good too. Julie

   Had takeaway from here last night, whilst it was quick and the the salt and pepper tofu was nice the hot and sour soup was completely inedible. All it tasted of was vinegar, I had one mouthful and couldn't have any more.

   Food was great, was nice being able to sit down and enjoy a meal! The only downside I would say is that the entrance and stairs going up looked a bit shabby, wasn't entirely sure there was a restaurant at the location at first. Still though, nice food, look forward to going again.
