   I can recommend Millennium Balti in Runcorn if you like an Indian Takeaway. Had out of it for the second time tonight and still impressed. The Granny Style Madras.... Proper spicy - not for the faint hearted. And pretty budget Friendly. 3 curries, 2 rice, 2 naan, 5 poppadoms came to £37.50.... (A takeaway curry from Hungamaa in Stockton Heath is £12.95....) Worth the drive over.

   When the foods good, it’s very good. But we like a curry on Sunday night, and a lot of the time what they serve is just warm-ups from the night before. I understand a businesses reluctance to throw food away, but, I’ve had food poisoning before from re-heated Indian chicken (admittedly not from here!) and I just end up binning it when it comes as a re-heat as I won’t take the risk. Overall it’s a good takeaway, just wish they’d stop with the re-heats…

   All I can say is oil oil and more oil. Used to be my favourite takeaway now it disappoints everytime food was freezing and i ordered 3 mains chips and 3 naans and it was £50 will not be going back again. Below is the oil I had to take out my meal and there was still more that I couldn’t get out.

   Ordered from here for the past 10 years. It is brilliant. When I first moved to Runcorn I was annoyed by how bad the choices are in food here. However, this is the best food in Runcorn. For those who have complained about the grease, it is not, it is butter ghee and oil. It is what a proper BIR Indian should be like as the oil runs the spice through the food and helps the caramelisation process. If you don't like it then go eat something else and stay away from Indian food. You're embarrassing yourself by complaining about food being correctly cooked. Besides, should you wish, you can tip some oil away before you serve.

   This is the best Indian takeaway for people in Runcorn and surrounding areas. No restaurant overheads so very decent prices, order and deliver direct so no middle charges. Most importantly - the food is amazing. Never had any reason to doubt it. My go to Indian when home

   After 15+ years of reccomending this place tonight they stopped doing across the counter service !! I waited and waited ignored whilst the first guy chatted to - i assume - the Balti’s driver on the phone checking chits on a spike on the counter.. then still ignoring paying customers at counter proceeded to take call after call on the two phones .. the second guy raised his eyebrows to me as if to place my order and when i said my order - pointed to the guy chatting away on the phone … so totally ignored and with the other phone now started ringing - i walked out in disgust - so NO counter service at the Millenium Balti now .. they can’t be bothered . Even if you are a long standing customer of theirs. Must be doing well to afford to now turn away customers who have travelled to the restaurant in person… This is How to shoot your business in the foot !!

   I've been ordering from Millennium Balti for around 5 years now, and I've genuinely never had a bad meal. Always hot on arrival and extremely tasty! Honestly wouldn't ever go anywhere else.
