   Very disappointed. The Food still great but the service was really bad. We had to call waiter to take order. We had to call waiter to clear table after sitting around dirty plates for 20 minutes. We were not offered desert or coffee to finish. We booked two weeks before and confirmed the day before and no table was prepared, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Shame, as the service here used to be so good. Disappointed.

   New Year's Eve: Great food. Great price for New Year's Eve. Stayed open late so us old fogies could do Auld Lang Syne. Superb customer experience. 2 years ago : 60th birthday celebration. Good food and service. Very good value. Great tolerance from the staff. An excellent evening. Recommended.

   The food was very good and worthy of 5 stars but the less than average service drags it down. No real greeting on arrival, we weren’t shown to our table and given menus, instead our table was pointed out to us from a distance. Waited 10 minutes for a server to ask if we wanted drinks. The drinks took another 6 or 7 minutes to arrive and they arrived separately. At no point during the meal did anyone ask if the food was ok and we had to find someone to get fresh drinks as our glasses sat empty for 7 or 8 minutes. We got the bill and after waiting sometime, we ended up going to the bar to pay. Again, no one asked if we enjoyed the meal. The server just said ‘tap here’ referring to the card machine and we left. I had booked the table 3 weeks in advance, yet we felt like we were an inconvenience to a busy restaurant. The main reason I’m so frustrated is that the restaurant had the audacity to add 10% service charge to the bill. It’s a real shame because the chefs produce excellent food but the service leaves a bad taste!

   This place provides the wonderful service. I have been twice with my friends. Had warm welcome by the staff, food was served quick. I would say one of the best place around this area.
