The best fish and chip shop around - large portions, tasty food and the chips are the best I’ve ever tasted- crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle and made out of real chipped potatoes ( not frozen) . The owner is always friendly and helpful. Food is always hot and fresh.
Delicious freshly made fish and chips, a local gem. There’s no fish left out on the counter, everything is made to order and you can tell it’s good quality ingredients. Also love that they offer the option of ‘light’ batter. If you want cheap, greasy fish and chips then go elsewhere. Highly recommend!

The portion sizes here for the large fish and for the large chips are on the small side for the price, and the quality although passable is not outstanding. How the batter is applied to the fish could be better, there are better processes out there to get a lighter batter, the batter is here is thick. This is one that you would get again, but its definitely only hitting around 3/5 for the food.
We love their fish and chips. It is our yearly Xmas Eve tradition when visiting my parents and a treat other times of the year or when we have guests. Much tastier and fresher than the options where we live in London. And the owner is super friendly
