We organised an evening dinner for 20 people. Adil and his team were really helpful during the planning phase with the menu and showed us great hospitality on the day. Food was fantastic as always. Thank you team at Lahore Eastcote
The food was quite bland, no real spices or heat. The lamb chops were not good, they were very Chewy and hard to bite. Definitely mutton, and at Ā£14 pricey. Chicken tikka was ok. The chicken methi karahi was good, but no heat or spice at all, I asked for medium. Ā£40 and a service charge for Ā£5. Ā£45 all in is ridiculous. Restaurant was empty, I can tell why. Disappointed and won't return. Considering quality and prices charged. Service was just average.
Ordered a take away. Peshawari naan, Karahi methi chicken were really nice. The long coriander chilli garlic naan was a let down. Karahi chicken butter masala was just about okay. Ordered again twice and have new favourites Mutton Or Lamb Nihari Lamb chops Kebabs not a favourite Naan if takeaway gets too hard/chewy Spice for us medium/mild else too hot. More pics added.
I've been to Lahore many times for dinner and large gatherings. I like that it's BYOB. The food is always great, though the mix grill price is a bit high, so I usually order the meat starters separately. They make some of the best lamb chops I've had, and the weekend lamb biryani is just as good. Other starters and mains we've tried have also been excellent. I appreciate that they provide complimentary salad and chutneys, unlike many other restaurants that charge for them. The service is consistently great, and the atmosphere is lively, especially with the Punjabi music playing. I highly recommend trying Lahore, but make sure to book a table in advance because it gets busy.
I have been visiting this place since they opened and still its one of my favorite, when it comes to authentic Pakistani, Punjabi cuisine. The food has always been perfect in how it should taste. The in house service can sometimes be slow, but hey they are often very busy and I can wait as long as I get the great tasting food. It's not that expensive and yes you can bring your drinks, which is icing on the cake.
Heard a lot about this little-known place, so group of us tried it and hired their private room. Food wasn't bad at all. Had the lamb hops, Kebabs, Lamb tikka and tandoori chicken. Highlight was rhe ginger chicken and the naan. Defo worth the visit. 1 star less was because even though we had the private room service was very slow.
If you want authentic Pakistani food. This is the place to go. The lamb chops and the naan are something else!! You have to try it to believe it!
Excellent food Ordered for paya, it was absolutely amazing. Lovely taste. I asked for spicy, and it was well prepared Had chicken methi as well, tasted real good Chilli naan and garlic naan was very good as well Rounded off with kheer at the end Everything was perfect...definitely going back again
