Drop ‘N Chicken.. This place was hilarious… sadly unintentionally. Firstly, let’s just say - you’re at a theme park, you’re a captive audience, so you have to set aside any sense of reality when it comes to the price of food.. Just over £30 for food that would cost significantly less than half that outside is to be expected really. It wasn’t even bad food – a few chicken goujons, a pot of spicy chicken, a small chips and a couple of drinks. Nothing special, but capable of being eaten on the go, hot and cooked-through. Not a bad trifecta for this type of food. The atmosphere inside though, that is what really made this experience for me. They have it set up so you order by screen (yay, I like that) and then you hang around waiting for your number – so far, so very McDonalds… That is where that similarity ends, however – here, you then had three of the most moribund individuals placing food into bags, with pure indifference. I get it, it’s not a great job, it’s mass-produced food and it’s coming out in quantity. Being there just won’t be fun, but still, I’ve never seen such total apathy. At one point, a Coke fell over on the counter and the guy who did it just, sort of…stared at it, before continuing to put food in bags. Bags that were now sitting in Coke.. In the end a couple of kids I the queue mopped it up with napkins. Strange. It was like being in some sort of twilight zone, with everything is moving at half speed, as if partially preserved in aspic. In the 10 minutes I was there, it was noticeable that various people would walk up and claim missing items from bags, which were just handed over – I assume you lose a lot of stock this way? My order was actually wrong, wings instead of onion rings – you could see how it happens with everything in identical little bags - but meh, couldn’t be doing with going back in to address that. Wings it was. Overall, I say go to the Count’s Kitchen instead, or whatever they’re calling the former Burger King these days – probably also slow, but at least it has indoor seats!

Food tasted okay, but chicken was soft and mushy in the middle, once I came home I experienced vomiting, pain, and dizziness

Very disappointed with my recent visit to Drop’N Chicken in Chessington. My order was missing 3 packs of fries, and when I pointed it out, the manager was rude and completely unhelpful. He refused to replace the missing items and showed a really bad attitude. No apology, no solution – just attitude. Tip: Always CHECK YOUR FOOD before leaving the counter. They clearly don’t take responsibility once you walk away. Won’t be going back.

Absolutely awful! We’d been better off eating the napkins. Takes quality of theme park food to a new low, without even considering about the horrendous price.

I stopped in here a few weeks back with my Daughter. Firstly i was put off by the general feel to the place.. however we were both hungry. We waited what seemed ages for the food. There were no seats available outside and the one we did find the bench had planks missing! My chicken burger was a soggy mess and the fries tasted awful. My daughter said the chicken strips were not that nice. I just felt ripped off! Wish i had taken our own sandwiches!

We were pleasantly surprised by the chicken Wraps, strips and burgers, which were all very good. The chips have improved this year and staff are effective and helpful.

Extremely good burgers, fries a bit greasy but still really good. Fast service too. Recommend this over the vampires dry food.

Nice quality chicken. Not sure why 2 tiny wings cost £1.70 and you can get 4-5 large boneless strips with way more meat for only double the cost.

Nowhere near enough seating for all. Queued 25 minutes for order to be wrong. PLUS Soggy chips. Coke/pump completely flat and barely cool. No ketchup. Chicken itself was fair though and packaging biodegradable
