   The greasiest fish and chips I think I've ever had. Bit into the fish and oil was all over my hands (although it tasted quite nice) Had scallops that had obviously been cooked a while ago and were also greasy as hell (the batter wasn't nice) I know the food is deep fried but this was ridiculous. It's a pity because the Chinese food here is usually good. I'll be going elsewhere in future though.

   1st visit, very disappointed, asked for sweet n sour chicken, gave me chicken in batter which tasted it had been overcooked in a microwave i couldnt even get a fork into it, the batter was yuk, sauce was watery an the rice was tasteless. Salt n pepper chips were the only good thing. I would not reccommed any chinese from here. Even the fish batter was not the best.

   Not been to this place in while but am glad I did tonight it was lovely got salt& pepper chicken wings big portion sizes also & beef green pepper & black bean sauce with fried rice again a large portion and it was delicious & a bag of chips which was fresh & crispy we will be returning.

   Been going here for years, and its never disappointed, by far the best chips in Ormskirk by a country mile, portion sizes are huge giving excellent value for money. Only tips are if you have a large order its best to call ahead as everything is cooked to order so there can be a wait otherwise. Only criticism is that they can take long long holiday and close the business while there away.

   Went here because of the reviews, seems to be a recurring issue as you can’t seem to trust people’s opinions anymore. Food is vile, sausage was days old, chips were undercooked. My wife ending up cooking our family a meal because this food had to go straight in the bin. Not a chance I was letting my children eat that stuff!

   Got to be the best Chinese and fish & chip shop certainly in ormskirk but probably for miles around. Their food is so fresh and appealing and its fantastically cheap. I went into a famous chippy in ormskirk opposite Morrisons that has always been expensive but yet again they have increased their prices and had new priced menus. A Holland pie £2.50 small chips £2.50 pie dinners £6.50!!! and sausage dinners £6.50!! I just walked out knowing that Ormskirk chippy sells Hollands pies for £1.60 and small chips £1.80 pie dinners £4.50 sausage dinners £4.50 and to be honest all served with a smile and appreciation. If you have a car its worth the extra couple of minutes to get to this Ormskirk chippy and it will save you a fortune

   Ignored me even though I was first in the queue and served the man behind me, until I said I was here first. We ordered 2 Beef chow mein, tasted alright but was a bit dry and beef was very scarce indeed. Ordered Salt and pepper ribs, but got Chinese style, ordered a Sausage dinner but there was no sausages . Pretty poor service if you ask me. Sorry, sticking to Mike's chippy in Skem.
