Despite being the only table in there our experience was subpar. Having called twice with no response we made a reservation online, much to their surprise when we arrived. There were three waiting staff in there but might as well have been zero. One waitress was on her personal phone while delivering our drinks (forgetting one I might add that we never received) one was drinking an alcoholic cocktail that the third waiter made while slouching with her feet up on a couch. This first waitress was hidden in the store cupboard the whole time. After being informed that we couldn’t have prosciutto on two of the pizzas we opted for salami, which looked as though the chef had ran across the street to Sainsbury’s and picked up a pre-made pack and slapped it on the pizza. One of us asked for the salami to be cooked and it came back fried and burnt. Another pizza came uncut. We had to ask for cutlery and napkins - something that the slouching waitress could have noticed we needed had she not been on her phone. It took far too long after we finished for the waiter to clear our plates. Not once were we asked how the food was (the only saving grace of our evening) and upon reviewing the bill we had been charged for chilli flakes! This should’ve been at least one substitute for removing olives off a pizza. When we brought this up we were met with silence, the next words coming essentially “how would you like to pay”. Disappointing overall.

Food was really good and great value for money (we had The Full Arther). It was our first time with an 11 month old and they accommodated us really well. We will be back!

Ate there last night... Wife and I shared a Napoletane and Diavole. My two favourite pizzas, perfectly done. Crisp base, chewy sour dough edge and just the right amount of topping. Washed down with two large glasses of Amicale. Sat just outside, lovely summer evening overlooking the green. Note they have some issues with their website. We tried to book at lunchtime or the Saturday evening. Website said nothing available that eveing.. so we phoned.. and there was plenty available.

I had an amazing experience at the pizzeria this past Friday! The place looks absolutely fantastic after the recent renovation — modern, cozy, and with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. A special shout-out to Vitória, who provided outstanding service from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Her positive energy added so much to our evening! And of course, the pizza… it was simply delicious! Perfectly baked, with fresh ingredients and rich flavors that really stood out. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended — can’t wait to come back!

Popped in today and so glad I did! The food has got so much better and was a really relaxing environment. Star of the show was the Tiramisu! One of the best I have ever had, so much improvement from the last time I was here. Thanks guys, Ill be back for the football!

Great place to have a proper fresh baked pizza! Next to the green so the dogs and kids can run free while the adults drink and watch! They also offer gluten and vegan free pizza that helps us a lot. Not many places have vegan and gluten free pizza.

Great pizzas, lasagne and good selection of wines. Brownie and lemon cheese cake were delicious too. Kids loved the ice cream sundae. We came back to Arthur’s Pizza to celebrate with friends who missed the 50th surprise party last week at the same venue. I cannot recommend it enough.. will be back again for sure :)

Arthur’s Pizza - a hidden gem truly in Twickenham, it’s pet friendly and overlooks the Green. We have gone past this place so many times and never imagined it to be so amazing until we experienced it for a dear friend’s 60th birthday celebration last year. Earlier this month, I wanted to have a surprise celebration for my husband’s 50th milestone and the memories & experience from the previous celebration left me with no doubt to come back to Arthur’s Pizza. I booked an appointment to meet Antonia - the magician :) who organised the party perfectly on a short notice though faced some serious challenges 2 days prior to our party. I will not get into the details of the issue that she & the team faced but you can get them from Antonia when you visit this little cozy place for a great meal :) Arthur’s 5 year celebration & Valentines Day being on February 14, same day as the actual birthday, I requested Antonia for the decorations to be put up a day prior for our party. She made it happen and that completely transformed the ambience - absolutely gorgeous with red & gold balloons and fresh flowers on the tables. All the guests arrived before my husband and I since it was a surprise for him. Everything was set up perfectly - welcome drinks & small bites. Everyone absolutely loved the food - wood fired pizzas, pasta and the ambience. The staff was very friendly, efficient and super attentive to all guests ensuring everyone had a good time. Antonia had the day off but due to the previous day challenges, she stayed on looking after everyone and that gave me the feeling that she took her work very seriously, just like it was her own and that let me also enjoy the party since I share my birthday with my husband ;) I recommend Arthur’s Pizza to everyone for a delicious meal or for a great party. Thank you Antonia and the team for a memorable celebration :)
