As a family of Dim Sum lovers, our usual spot in Purley, while popular, had started to suffer from long queues and a slight dip in quality. This prompted a search for a new favourite beyond central London, and we were thrilled with our discovery. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, but the Wu Gok (Yam Croquettes), Beef Ho Fun, Fukien Fried Rice, and Crispy Shredded Beef were particularly memorable. What impressed us most was the freshness and perfect seasoning of everything. The excellent service was another major plus. We appreciated condiments like chilli oil and dipping chilli sauce right at the table without asking, and the attentive staff consistently topped up our teapot without us needing to ask. Unlike some Dim Sum restaurants where you can feel rushed, we were able to relax and savour our meal. The staff were incredibly attentive, even proactively offering to downsize plates to make room for more dishes. Without a doubt, we all agreed that this is now our go-to Dim Sum destination.

Delicious, authentic plates, small and large, of decadent dazzling dishes. Splendid crispy shredded beef and smoked shredded chicken, delicate soft dumplings, risibly scrumptious spring rolls. Filling vegetarian Singapore noodles and egg-fried rice. Fried vegetables prepared with different flavors, and unexpectedly enticing fried turnip paste. Do also try the deep fried bean curd with garlic spicy salt. Efficient service, with food coming out piping hot. Pleasing Jasmine tea and glutenous rice balls with sweet black sesame paste filling inside, with a nice nutty twang. Popular and bustling. Reservations recommended.

Very good food in a typical Chinese dim sum restaurant. The dim sum are home made. One can tell because they are fresh and made w good ingredients, while dim sum restaurants use l frozen package food. Ambiance of the restaurant wasn’t great, noisy w tired decor. Service staff were very friendly. One can tell the food is good when most customers were Hong Kongers

Guy was rather abrupt when we arrived but the waitresses were more friendly and helpful. All the food was super hot (temp) which was great. Had to ask for certain condiments but they were available. Overall enjoyed the food.

We didn't book a table, asked to check the bill within an hour in order to free up the space for next booking. It's fine for me. We made our order once we were sitted. After 45 minutes of sitting and waiting, our first dimsum came, five more minutes the last dimsum was forced to cancel. So we only got ten minutes to finish our food. The waiters kept telling us our time was up and needed to go. What a shame we can't really enjoy our lunch.

This is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants because I can always get the best seafood dishes from them. Knowing the restaurant owner of course really helps. An authentic anglicised Cantonese food, it has become a dying breed these days. The food is very solid and hence it can stand the test of time. They have a huge menu and seafood to choose from. They also do corkage and let me bring my own wine to the restaurant. Food 9/10, ambience 8.5/10, service 8/10, value for money 8/10. This is a real gem and a Chinese restaurant I and my friends would travel all the way to Teddington to enjoy our dinner.

Always a great meal and so reassuringly busy with local residents and large Chinese families. A family favourite of ours for many years and now I recommend it to my Airbnb guests. Kudos to Imperial China. A must to order is the Sticky Beef (in a noodle basket) as well as any of their Sizzling Delicacies. Also ask about their rose infused liquor, it kicks a punch!

By all means a solid (albeit the only) choice if you find yourself in this area of Greater London but unfortunately the Dim Sum quality doesn't quite compare to others in London. Restaurant is fairly small and you'll NEED to book to advance and be limited a 1.5 hour slot. Service was efficient. Menu is on the pricier side with Dim Sum dishes averaging £5-6 each.

Wonderful dim sum, high quality and perfectly fresh, cooked and executed. A bit pricey - probably 1.7x of London Chinatown prices, but obviously convenient for those that live close to the area. Do yourself a favour and order the salted egg custard buns
