First time visiting but will not be back !! Milk was sour in our coffee and tea waited 25 mins for a toastie which. In my opinion was missing the ingredients and cold we had to leave them no apology for the sour milk or offer of a refund.it is a shame as first impressions it looked nice but staff seemed not to be interested.

Great attachment to the golf course and seams very welcoming to anyone just wanting a pint before or after a walk in the park. Food was very very surprisingly good and well priced. Also the start after supper friendly and the peace is stoic friendly.

This venue has such potential but it is really badly run. Sunday afternoon, no gin glasses washed. I had to have my gin in a wine glass. The server used her fingers to pick up a lemon to put in my drink. I wouldn’t even do that at home. Use tongs or at least a fork. Never enough people serving. It was quiet today but if there is an event on, the queue is always the length of the bar. The tables are never wiped clean and are always stained with other people’s drinks. There was a great man singing with his guitar but it was just to loud for a Sunday afternoon and you couldn’t hear yourself speak. This place could be such a lovely bar but sadly it’s lacking in all areas. I’ve been coming here since in very first opened when other lads used to run it. Sadly, there’s always an issue.

Just visited for breakfast. 2 Eggs Benedict which were not cooked properly. Table was full of crumbs which I had to wipe myself. The staff were too busy chatting together and not very polite to say the least. Such a shame because it could be absolutely beautiful.

This place was recommended to me and as we live locally thought we would try it for lunch. Absolute nightmare!! The parking situation is awful, if in fact you can park, we’ve tried before and had to leave, but not put off so gave it another try today. We arrived at one for lunch, ordered some drinks and food, not a banquet, and only two of us. We heard the table next to us complaining about a long wait, but it was a lovely day so we sat it out…… One hour and 15 minutes later, and having to ask a couple of times about the wait, and only thanks to Anna, our food arrived! It was only calamari, halloumi, and a burger, nothing difficult but took that long. I did speak to the manager, who apologised and offered a refund, which we refused. But really, you need to get your act together food wise otherwise people just won’t come. Last time for us anyway. ( also, I’m diabetic which did not help)

Rustic style place and quite pretty with lights and plants. Very limited menu of hot and cold sandwiches with various types of chips..no hot meals. Plenty of drink choices. Food was nice. Paper plates and wooden throwaway forks Average prices DOG friendly and staff were pleasant enough

Lovely bar for a coffee in the day or a drink in the evening! I’ve been a number of times and always felt welcomed with a friendly atmosphere. We enjoy popping in with the family dogs and find ourselves staying for longer as we aren’t worrying about getting home for them! Great location and plenty of parking.

Really great to see this place up and running. Nice little setting well presented, not massively expensive. Service was a little slow during the day with everyone ordering hot drinks and them only having a drinks machine but will deffo be returning and possibly become our new local. Good atmosphere and nice view our over the park & golf course. Done a great job with this really hope it proves to be a huge success.

Excellent new bar in the grounds of Bowring Park Golf Club. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and after chatting with the bar staff, looks like there is lots planned for the future, utilising the outdoor space for markets and event once the landscaping is complete. Looking forward to visiting again and grabbing something to eat next time.
