Love this chippy, it does great Chinese food. Price is fantastic too. Always order when I'm visiting Liverpool
I LOVE the chips in here! They are soft and white and actually edible. I hate it when chips are hard, crunchy and burnt so this is one of my favourite chippies for chips alone. Haven't experienced any other food yet so can't comment on that. The service is Fantastic, I always ask for loadsa salt 'n' vinegar and that's what I always get. :-)
Ordered two chow mein, both absolutely vile, went straight into the bin!
Didn't know this place existed until I was talking to my neighbour and said about chippies that are still open delivering meals. She said it was the best so I ordered my meals and within no time they were delivered piping hot to our doorstep. (within a 1/3rd of the time of our usual chippy) Wife was very happy with her veg curry and we were very happy with our fish dinners. Now we have a menu, they have new customers. Glad I spoke to my neighbour. Well done this chippy.

Johns supper bar the food they cook is really tasty. The chiips can be a bit nasty at times or warm ups might be a better word. One thing I can say is that they are constantly busy in there at times and you cannot place a phone order at times because of this which I suppose reflects how good tbe meals are there. I mainly get the Barbercued ribs in salt and Pepper ribs which are lovely but quite often you will get some ribs that are just fat on them . But it is a decent chippy
Can't say what the food is like, after waiting for 10 minutes to be served and being ignored by the staff as they prepared telephone orders when l got tired of waiting l left and went to gateacre village and was served with fresh hot food. My advice to anyone going to this takeaway don't, save your time and find something elsewhere. You'll be eating your food a good deal sooner by going further.
