Been going here for a while ..amazing chippy never had a bad meal till tonight ! Chicken ginger spring onion was (to me ) cubes of frozen chicken and lots of sliced carrots ..not the same as usual I just heard it has changed names too ..well if its new owners I ll not b using you again very disappointed
Found a long dirty hair in my rice so I binned it. I gave them another chance a few weeks later as accidents can happen only to find another dirty long hair in my rice again this time I was pulling out from my throat. I rang up and complained they came to collect the food with no refund then rang me and said I'm not getting a refund because I've eaten half the food then they dropped like 2 pound off absolute joke. The person I was dealing with was so rude and said the hair wasn't from them and it definitely wasn't mine because I'm bald. Disgusting and disgusting behaviour towards a customers. Never ever again 100% that hair came from that place both times. I have just seen some elce on these reviews saying the same SHOCKING
Have ordered here about 3 times now and they delivery all the to speke were we live quick delivery I order noodle boxes special and have tried a few of them great choice the yellow bean 1 I had tonight was lovely ,kids order kebabs always great ,can't wait to order my next noodle box.
No choices of 'english meals'...mixed grill, liver and onions, steak dinner etc . Fairly decent chips but fish was double fried and slightly overcooked. No onions in the gravy for a pie dinner. Curry sauce was not rich enough for my taste, thick ...but quite bland. Over all...it's gone down since it was the ocean fry.
Found a hair in my egg fried rice, Then a few months later decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and order from there again only to find another hair in my egg fried rice again after waiting for 2hours for my order what all got binned after finding the hair. Will never order from this place again. Whoever prepares the egg fried rice obviously doesn’t wear hair nets or are just a blatant tramp
Sometimes chips are nice, sometimes they are anaemic and stale tasting like tonight. Not cheap either but staff are friendly enough In response to the owners reply…it’s obviously not just me that feels that way about the chips judging by recent reviews. Maybe try and take the customers feedback into consideration instead of replying with sarcasm. No business is perfect but you will lose customers if you don’t at least try and listen to them, especially when their money is what’s keeping you open.
Besides getting the order wrong when we ordered large meals and got home to find they had given us small but charged us for large. The fried rice was mushy and not very appetising, chips were fresh but undercooked and to top it off they were absolutely drowned in sauce it was all over the bag the rapper and when we actually opened the meals had to pour alot of it away to actually get to the food underneath. Both got thrown away. My little girl did enjoy the nuggets though so not all bad but I think I'll give it a miss and stick to our usually chippy. Having worked in multiple food venues and chippies in the past I understand that it can be quite demanding when busy and mistakes are easy to make but it was littrally empty so I see no excuse
