   After reading reviews here we almost did not go! However, decided to take a chance and try for ourselves. Glad we did as everything was fine. Tried a special fried rice, fish, chips and few other bits. Food was spot on and service was good. I thought prices was reasonable too.

   Chicken chow mein, swimming in gravy, pasteurised Chicken, no bean sprouts just noodles. Greasy. Not nice at all. Could of done better myself and I am no cook.

   Chinese food very good. Tasty and good portions. Fish not very good, batter too thick and as a result not solid right through. Chips excellent, not greasy at all. Tends to be busy but plenty of staff and they cope well. Bit more pricey than some of the other local take aways but quality makes it worth it.

   Just got home with my Fish and Chips, not to their usual standard, I phoned up to tell them but the Woman who answered didn't understand what I was saying that the Fish was tough at the tail end, so we had to cut a third off and throw it away, it was as if it had been refried from Lunchtime. I do feel the standard is going down, from when they first opened, come on Jumbo, dont let your standards slip x

   Recovered from covid and wanting something warm and comforting that we didnt have to cook but might spatk off the old tastebuds...couldnt go wrong here with the Curry chicken and rice with plenty of chicken and sauce and lovely fresh chips on the side. Great size meal representing cracker value for money

   Really great little place, got a huge menu of both Chinese and traditional chippy food, if you didn't want a full Chinese meal you could go with the classic fish and chips! good prices and really lovely staff!
