Outstanding on every level. They prepared a three course Christmas meal for 23 people and it was faultless. The food was delicious. It’s an incredible uplift in food quality from the previous owners. George and his team were fantastic.

Wine selection to go with food is very limited. We had the bordaux and it was very average. The lamb roast used shredded meat, so we were suspicious, the beef was nice, but a bit chewy. The service was very efficient & freindly, although we were initially placed in a small area that could have been closed as private dining, but unfortunately, the ventilation system was so loud & vibrated such as to make us all feel sick. Overall, nice venue, great service, food average.
Absolutely THE BEST Sunday roast eaten in AGES! Truly generous portions. The roast lamb was incredible, as was the beef! Just about to have desert! A great family venue which is also dog friendly.
Have been wanting to come here for Sunday lunch for ages, it did not disappoint. The Mac and Cheese starter was beyond words, I have never tasted anything so good. The hallumi fries were also delicious. I had the roast beef and my partner had the shoulder of lamb, it was mental how good it was. The staff were so welcoming and so lovely and put that all together it was a fantastic eating experience and we didn’t want to leave. Sort of stumbled out so full. 5 stars and will definitely be back thank you so much
Great traditional local pub. Popular & with great outdoor facility for BBQ & Music in summer. Inside (in the winter) there is a roaring fireplace & a number of niches to sit together with friends with some privacy. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Their menu has daily specials & is broad enough to appeal to all. The food is Excellent - decent size portions, local ingredients & very tasty. Good value & worth going to specially
Great little gem of a place we were recommended. The food was fantastic. The chicken wings were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, covered in sauce and tasted delicious we inhaled them so quick because they were so just so good. My son had the Stack burger with skinny fries and loved it. I had the chicken burger which was delicious and we both had peppercorn sauce on the side which was delicious. We love going out for pub food and this was the nicest pub grub we have ever had. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Amazing and we will be back.
A friendly , welcoming pub with good quality food and drinks. It's always busy without being hectic. Sunday Roast portions are very generous but the fish dishes are more modest. However the creamed spinach side dish is amazing!
It was our first time at this pub. It took 20 minutes for us to get our drinks and the food arrived after an hour of waiting. The food itself was delicious, generous portions, nice and hot. The staff were generally quite pleasant - its a shame everything took so long.
Nice pub with kind staff. So far, we only stopped for a quick refreshment (just drinks), but we are looking forward to having lunch or dinner. On a weekday, we found easy parking there. Inside, the main room is quite welcoming, and they have a also a nice garden. The alcohol-free beer is the best of the County. See you soon, guys.
