   A lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Ladies night is a very good deal and wine is always being topped up so your glass never empties! Fish cakes were a great starter. Hot and crispy with sweet crushed peas to compliment it. Unfortunately we were let down by the mains. Fried fish was soggy and very oily (you can see the oil that has dripped on to the plate in the photo) and chips were dry and dense like oven chips and my daughter didn't really enjoy the bavette steak, more like small slices of stewed beef. We had a side of stir fry veg that was fresh and nicely cooked but unfortunately also extremely oily. With a small set menu I always think a restaurant is showcasing its best dishes to temp you to try the a la carte on another visit. Maybe the chef was having an off day. I think I would try again with the hope of being able to leave a five star review next time.

   Just to say thank you all so much for a wonderful evening on Saturday, for my daughter in laws 30th birthday party. The venue looked stunning and the staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful. The guests all had an amazing evening and we will definitely visit again soon. I highly recommend! Many thanks x

   I've always liked visiting Langleys and have enjoyed "ladies night" in the pass. I invited six ladies to enjoy the meal for £25 with "unlimited wine". We all enjoyed our food! We received the bill and divided the cost. This worked out £42 each. On reflection and checking your menu (and small print), there were supplement charges that you do not market in your "ladies night" promotion. We were charged £10 extra per person for wine, that was not left at our table & £5 for the steak, which you advertise as 8oz steak (this I would question) as we were served size small slices of steak. I feel you need to reconsider how you promote this night, as the wine stopped flowing at 10pm! (Again in your small print!). Transparency is important if you want your customers to return.

   This restaurant looks great and cozy, but the food was mediocre and it’s only memorable for how boring the whole meal was. My husband’s duck confit was small and dry, my lamb shank was larger in size but nothing to write home about. They forgot our starter and it didn’t seem worth staying for pudding after the mains. Wouldn’t go again

   I didn't eat at this restaurant however I broke down outside the restaurant and the lovely man working that night came out to check on me twice and asked if I wanted to sit inside while I waited for someone to tow my car. They let me use their facilities as well which I really appreciated. Seeing this kind of service really made my evening after my car breaking down and I would 100% eat here after seeing that service

   We took our friends for dinner with great expectations but quality of food has gone down since our last visit. Salmon was average, pork belly was chewy and sticky toffee pudding tasted like it had been defrosted in the microwave. Carrot Wellington and gnocchi were ok but expected more from Langleys. Staff are very polite and attentive, hence the 3 stars

   I have lived in the area my whole life but I have only just visited this restaurant! I ordered the sweet potato and chickpea masala for my main which was lovely. It had just the right level of spice. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding which came highly recommend by the waitress and it was fab! The staff were very attentive and the service/arrival of food was quick. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
