I placed an order through Uber Eats today around 7pm, and for almost an hour I heard nothing from them. I tried calling the company multiple times but never got a hold of anyone. The money has been deducted and the order never arrived. Awful and disgusting service Khasturi have.

Ordered food for me and my partner from the khasturi the order was accepted at 19:30 and payment was taken. Over an hour later I called the restaurant 15 times to find out the number on the website is incorrect. I then called another number 15 times and had no answer, finally I turned up to the shop an hour and a half later to find the shop closed with the shutters down. I am utterly disgusted by this as the money has still not been sent back to the account leading me to spend more money for something else. I will be expecting a refund or contact by mid-day tomorrow. AVOID!!

Takeaway. Food is ok. Unfortunately takes between 1hr 30mins and 2hrs to arrive, consistently. I only live about 5mins from the resteraunt so it takes them an hour and a half to prepare a small meal for one. I was a regular customer but will not be ordering again. Food i just had that took 2 hrs to arrive was disgusting as well. Obviously. Because it's been riding round in a car for an hour. Having to get my money back through just eat and will not be ordering again.

Bad manager. I ordered food from here. Taste is very average. Packaging is worse, oil spill. I ordered chicken chatpata and I got some other dish. Itβs worse. When I call them. They say itβs chicken chatpata. Donβt go there or order from there. See the chatpata pic. You will understand. Itβs very bad and when I called them they say we are in this business for so long, enjoy what we have sent you. Very rudeβ¦.. also the other food is very very oilyβ¦yuk.. waste of money

Food usually on point but maybe they have a different chef tonight that cannot cook like the other chef! Lamb biryani really lacked it's usual flavour, had not that much meat in the rice and was very disappointing. They did give lots of poppadoms and dips but biryani was below standard. Meat obviously not seasoned or any flavours added..boring!

Food is above average I am ok because I was hungry . But when a customer pays money , be nice to them .. tell them to have a seat . Also my advice for the business owner , collect money when food is ready to collect .. not like charging first, ask customer to wait another 25 minutes, not fair ... what if customer have an appointment, be honest with customer rather than quickly taking 10 pound . If the order than takes 20 minutes, just inform customer rather than saying 5 minutes, after 5 minutes they say 2 minutes after two minutes they say 5 minutes finally 25 minutes. May be in Bangladesh time has no value . But owner need to understand the life in UK .. please honest with timing, just say it takes 20 minutes.. I lost my appointment because of this ..

I have to say that ordering from this vendor was one of the worst experiences I've ever had when ordering food. Price: The food was more expensive then I would usually pay, however, I was using a voucher code that UBER kindly sent me. I noted that positive reviews of 4.3 for this vendor "Khasturi Indian Takeaway" Delivery: Fast delivery & polite member of the team dropping off the food In terms of food: Delivery one: The order arrived with the wrong contents The onion bhajee was soggy & greasy (see attached pics) I was sent a starter instead of a main for my tandoori chicken (see attached pics) Both our naan breads were burnt (see attached pics) Delivery two: The order arrived AGAIN with the wrong contents AGAIN I was sent a starter AGAIN instead of a main for my tandoori chicken They didn't re-send the Chicken Korma & Rice The phone conversation: Call number one: The member of staff I spoke to was initially fantastic, he apologised & offered to re-send the order ASAP. We sent photos of the burnt Naans and explained I received a starter instead of a main & bhajees were soggy & greasy. He accepted this and to his word, we had another ring at the door with another delivery bag. We opened the bag and half the order was missing again. Call number two: I spoke to the same member of staff again & explained that the exact same wrong order had been delivered & that additionally he had ALSO forgotten to include my wife's main dish. The gentleman called me a liar & told me he didn't believe me. I offered to send to him photos of exactly what we had received as proof but he wasn't interested. He was extremely hostile towards me, rude & then hung up. Call number three nearly ten o clock: I called him back & explained that I have no agenda or reason to lie, he continued to speak over me, call me a liar & told me never to order with him again. We will never order from them again & will also tell anyone that listens just how rude they were and how badly they handled the situation. As a business owner, I understand that we all can have bad days but it's how you deal with them & what you do to rectify the situation. Khasturi Indian takeaway should review their order processes & also their customer management training.
