   Ordered food to be delivered which weirdly arrived earlier than requested and it was cold. Very disappointed, salt and pepper ribs were really tough and cold, fried chicken in special eastern diner sauce ...whats with all the chopped carrots, more than the chicken, sauce average and again cold, egg fried rice? Where is the egg? Extremely poor quality food snd expensive! Needless to say I wont be ordering from this restaurant ever again.

   5/5 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubby Neil and I to a fabulous Chinese restaurant in Allerton, called ‘Eastern Diner’. We had a banquet and have taken a photo of the banquets menu, as it would have taken ages to list it all down….. EVERYTHING was so tasty and all the meats were VERY tender and crispy where it’s dishes are supposed to be crisp! We arrived half hour after opening and there was just Neil and I in the restaurant but within 20 minutes the restaurant was getting full….. after eating, it was obviously very clear to why this restaurant is popular….. All dishes were delicious and each dish was plentiful. We are so full….. Would we go back….. DEFINITELY…..100%…xxx❤️

   Really nice food, great service, try banquet B, it has all the good stuff. With couple of drinks for 2 with the banquet came to £70, the tip is included btw.

   Food really tasty. Excellent choice. Although a little more expensive than other Chinese restaurants. They don't do any specials menu except the banquets. This would be a good selling point given the cost of living increases right now. Service is very quick, attentive and efficient. Staff are very friendly.
