We’ve been coming here for as long as we’ve lived in the area. The food is wonderful. Afelia, meatballs, mezze and desserts particularly good. Lovely family led service from the team. It’s also really family friendly and our kids always ask to come
Although the food was good, I found the service very poor… the waiter seemed indifferent and 2 of our party of 6 did not receive their main meals until at least 10-15 minutes after the rest of us and only then because we told the waiter they hadn’t had their meal. When they were eventually brought, there was no apology for the delay. Nobody cleared the dishes or asked if we wanted desserts despite waiting another 10-15 minutes… this was my birthday celebration, a card was on the table and I opened presents whilst there but there was no acknowledgment of this. The food was good but service poor and I wouldn’t return- very disappointed.

I recently visited Lefteris Greek Taverna and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, truly making you feel like you're in Greece. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall comfort. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. The menu is simple, authentic, and full of classic Greek dishes. A fantastic spot for anyone craving true Greek flavors in a cozy setting!
Food was good, service excellent but atmosphere was lacking as place was pretty much empty one Sunday lunchtime.
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was greatly impressed. Service was excellent, as was the food. Will definitely be returning in the near future.
This place deserves 5 start, its a traditional greek restaurant and the atmosphere here is very nice, the food It's amazing, they have a menu with plenty of dishes and options to choose from. The attention was very good and welcoming, I think is a family restaurant. We ordered the meze for 2 and it had 4 courses each, Its a lot to try and eat, we had chiken, lamb, shrimps, cheese, salad sausages, all was very fresh and tasty. I noticed that its a very clean place. We loved it, definetly worth coming back.
This is, without question, the best Greek restaurant we ever visited. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared, the restaurant is inviting, and both the proprietor and his staff made us feel like family. We had the stifado and the patio-kleftiko. It’s impossible to say which was best—both were intensely flavorful with melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The dolmades were fresh and tasty. Also, the proprietor’s wife makes the desserts, and she is an absolute genius at her art. It’s worth a trip to Liverpool just to visit Lefteris, and we already are looking forward to our next visit from the USA.
