   I had a wonderful experience at Dasthan Restaurant! The food was very delicious and fresh, with great flavors and presentation. The ambiance was also nice and comfortable. Special thanks to Manager Kamal — he was very polite, attentive, and provided excellent service. His professionalism made our visit even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for tasty food and great hospitality!

   We took a group of visitors from Pakistan [20] the food is outstanding, I was back within a week and will be again next Sunday and as often as time allows. I have been to India many times [6] who would have thought the best Indian food I have ever had was on my door step. I love India but due to poor health am unlikely to go again which is a major disappointment, thank you to the team at Dastaan for ensuring I will never have to miss superb Indian cuisine.

   Had high hopes as I saw the Michelin recommendation at the door. The atmosphere is great, service as well. However the food disappointed. The rotis were not great, parotha dry and naan felt like the one you buy at the supermarket (!). The dhal was watery, the chicken lollipops dry (you can see on the photo) and the butter chicken just ok. Such a shame.

   I can’t speak to whether this is authentic or not. I can say, it is awesome. The menu on offer here is unique - you won’t find these items anywhere else. I’m lucky enough that this is practically my local curry house. I’ve been multiple times, and we use it for special occasions. Phenomenal food, friendly waiters, and with the White Rhino range of beers offer a touch more than your standard “curry house beers”.

   Excellent Indian restaurant. The menu is compact but full of interesting dishes. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. All the dishes are expertly prepared with quality ingredients and the balance of spices was spot on. The service is brilliant, you will be well looked after by a very helpful and friendly team. There is no wonder that while we visited all the tables were full. Book in advance.

   Amazing food, 4 stars because of the space. But the service and the food is fabulous. We were 4 adults ad we had 4 starters with 3 drinks and 2 main course curries. We paid only £99. Will definitely go again but on odd days and timings because the space is very congested.

   Our favourite local place to eat! The menu is varied and has a few more unusual takes on dishes. Service is always friendly, but these days it’s definitely recommended to book ahead as they are VERY busy, which tells you a lot about how good this place is !

   Quality Indian food, packed with flavour. It’s not the oily, 1-taste-for-every-dish kind of place. In my opinion, their chef is actually a chef and is thinking about each dish. Worth the money, even though a little on the expensive side for what I am used to. Lovely friendly staff who are very accommodating and put you at ease. I will definitely go again for a special occasion.
