Haven’t been here in years. Came and visited some friends for lunch and just loved it. David our server was so attentive and great customer service. Couldn’t praise him more. Will definitely be coming back the food was perfect and the atmosphere was great !
We had a superb lunch at the Derby today. Great service especially by Len and another whose name I didn't catch who made our big group comfortable and sound like it was all no trouble. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere, a lovely place.
Me and my mum had a wonderful time. The service was spectacular. The food was delicious and came out on time. Lovely pub and restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back and recommend.
Lovely place, good atmosphere. Service was good and the lad serving us was very friendly and polite. The music was just a little too loud for the garden but it wasn't unpleasant. The pork was a little on the dry side but overall, I would recommend for a sunny afternoon/evening out for a meal and meet family or friends. We were in a group and had a great time.
What a great pub/restaurant!! Honestly one of The best Xmas roasts I have ever had in a pub. Well worth every penny!! Fantastic service, dedicated waiter that introduced himself by name and was always very helpful. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you to all the team!
Me and my partner attended on Saturday for the first time. The food was lovely; and reasonably priced. However, our waiter Matthew was even better. He was so warm and welcoming even having moved tables a few times as it was cold. He couldn’t do enough for us. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received at a restaurant. :) we will be back!
Went for Sunday roast and it was very nice. I had the lettuce bacon and avocado salad as a main and there was plenty of it, it was delicious and I’d come back just for this salad. My other half had the chicken roast and he said it was really good. We also had all the side dishes to the roast: also very good! I recommend the Douro if you like a rich red wine, very good value. The staff was really good too, especially as it was very busy as we came in at 4.30pm. They deserve the 5 stars as far as I’m concerned.
We decided to book at the Derby Arms, because of all the great feed back from friends and family. This was the first time my husband and I had been out for Christmas Day lunch. Well it was fantastic. From the moment we walked in you got the biggest smile from the young lady serving drinks. They were so busy the atmosphere was great, everyone happy and smiling. We were shown to our table next to the fire place felt very comfortable and romantic. The food was amazing. I had the Baked Scallops to start and I could eat those everyday They were delicious, the Turkey was so moist and very filling. My husband had the soup which he really enjoyed and Beef Wellington which he said was cooked perfectly. We both finished with the Chocolate Ball. That was Devine. 5* service from James he was such a nice guy. Just got to say FANTASTIC
Went for brunch this morning - 4 adults in total. Lovely full English breakfast for 2, eggs Royale for 1 & eggs Benedict for 1. Great food, great drinks & great service. Thank you
Been to fair few pubs lately but this is by far the best experience of late. Service was amazing throughout our booking. Food was lovely. The lady who was pregnant was lovely, Carla the supervisor was great and very professional. Will definitely go back.
