Amazing experience! Have a whole gluten free menu and the staff is very knowledgeable. Only Wish I found this place sooner. I had the beef stroganoff and my dad had the chicken. We also had dessert. 10/10. Dog friendly in the bar section.

Spacious restaurant with relaxing atmosphere and beautiful garden. We've ordered trio of Sunday roast and curry which both were really good. Very pleasant Sunday dinner with great house wine. Visit if you're hungry as the Sunday roads was very fulfilling.

We were there in June for the first time, for celebrating my sonβs first Holy Communion, and we had such an amazing lunch! Both Alex and Lorraine (I hope I remember their names correctly!) were very attentive and kind, and so patient with all the kids! We had tables for 22 people so it was busy for them, but they were just perfect: the food was amazing, all of our guests loved everything, from the starters (fried calamari, chicken satay, prawn cocktail..) to the mains (lamb ramp - the best Iβve ever had! - sea bass and prawns, soups..), to the desserts (warm chocolate brownie, trifle chocolate cake, lemon sorbet, ice cream..). I couldnβt recommend this place enough, the location is lovely, thereβs a beautiful garden and nice rooms. I was in contact via email with Grace and her colleagues for pre-ordering all the choices from the menu, and everything went smooth and perfect. I will definitely go back there again, I would give 1000 stars if I could!

First time visiting here. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by very nice staff and shown to our table. Our waiter Sam was great and very professional. There were 9 of us in total from ages 5 -88 and everyone of us enjoyed our food. The menu is fantastic. This place is in my top 3 now where I have eaten out on a Sunday. We will definitely be returning in the very near future.

Used to be a lovely pub and now is part a gastro pub chain. The Pub bar retains a nice atmosphere and is comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. So far so good! Then the food ! Had a very bland Grumpy Mole Fish Pie accompanied with a small portion of seasonal vegetables that looked and tasted like they had been heated up from the previous night. My friend had Scampi and chips which was fine but not exactly a challenging dish. So disappointed that we decided not to waste out money on their expensive selection of desserts. Would not want to risk revisiting. Sorry

First visit to Grumpy Mole in Epsom. What an amazing experience, staff were friendly, huge dining room, so plenty of space between the tables. Three of us had roast beef, all agreed, the best we've ever had. Great believer in you get what you pay for, so worth paying the extra for good quality. Don't live locally but will return.

Had a meal booked for 8 people at 5pm this evening canβt believe they had sold out of their choice of roast.Only had chicken roast left and this was at 5pm bearing in mind they were open and serving till half past 8 and their main menu being roast dinners with a choice of lamb, beef, chicken or trio of roast. Not acceptable at 5pm which is dinner time. Will not be returning even though the staff were very friendly and accommodating and a lovely atmosphere but just not acceptable

Food was nice, and the desserts were good. Disappointed by the snobbery, especially if you have young kids with you.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at this Epsom Grumpy Mole, with friendly and efficient service. We have eaten at several other Grumpy Moles and in terms of the food quality this one was slightly under par. My husband's stone for his steak wasn't as hot as it could have been, so he struggled to "cook" his steak to his liking. My liver wasn't as tender as I have had at other venues, but that may be due to the luck of the draw rather than the quality of cooking. We certainly enjoyed our meals though, and my side vegetables were absolutely delicious. Regarding wine, I wouldn't recommend the House Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, it tastes really cheap and metallic. It's very cosy inside, we actually sat in the bar area rather than the restaurant part, as we wanted a more informal experience. There are very few parking spaces available, so expect to park on the road outside. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue, as well as good food and service, it has a warm and inviting atmosphere.
