   This is a current review, June 2024. I have used China Chef twice in the last couple of weeks and both times it has been very good. The food is good, both times it has arrived ahead of the given time (and yesterday was a Friday night). The portions are generous. I had the House Special Curry which was really good. Both times I have been charged a 50p service charge and £2.50 delivery charge, which is a bit annoying, but the prices are good so it still works out good value.

   We used to use this place a lot. However the fish dishes are not very nice and the chips are soggy. The delivery was always late and the food was mediocre. We have since found a better Chinese with more choice and better tasting food. The staff also are not the friendliest here.

   Awful a wild awful. It use to be amazing then changed hands about 8 months ago. All meat is over cooked dry and lacking flavour, the no over cooked. Lacking English speaker so the lovely delivery driver is doing her best l, even went in the kitchen personally to make sure they cooked correctly as it’s the third time we have complained. Even with her help it was hurrendous

   Always satisfied with the food I order from China Chef. Delivery is always quick, and collection is always hassle free. I usually opt for the usual items of crispy shredded beef, duck pancakes and special fried rice. Good portions, and the 1/4 duck comes already off the bone which saved a lot of messing around.
