A very nice pub excellent dining areas its part of the grumpy mole chain a bit hard to find but worth it friendly staff didn't eat there but im sure it would have been good
We had another lovely meal at The Amato on Thursday. We chose a table in the bar area because we found it more comfortable than in the restaurant area. The food was delicious, I had calves liver and my husband had chicken pie. I had Apple Strudel for dessert, my husband had Date and Ginger pudding. Everything was very well presented and we didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive. Service was a bit slow at times, hence the 4 stars, but good otherwise. We will certainly come again.
I had an amazing time at The Amato Pub in Epsom last weekend! The service was genuinely friendly and personal—it really felt like they cared. The garden is lovely and made for a perfect spot to hang out. Plus, they were super welcoming to my friend’s dog, which was a huge plus. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out. It’s a gem!
So good. The people here are so friendly and happy. The manager even let me make a cocktail with him for fun! Such a great atmosphere and happy place. Food is also great. Highly recommended.

I love the outdoor terrace, I had eaten inside before but did not know the terrace and garden existed. Great on a Summers evening, really good food too.
Excellent service from the get-go. We were seated very quickly, and staff on hand throughout. Only criticism was the chorizo in the lamb dish. Fantastic, lamb, doesn't need chorizo thrown in! Puddings are nice, but small and probably overpriced. All in all, a great location if you want good food in a pleasant setting with great staff.
We came here for dinner and the first impression is how cozy it feels. The fire place is a great touch, something you don't see at many pubs. The food is simply great. I had the rump of lamp with a bottle of merlot. Both compliment each other incredibly well. The lamp is so juicy and pack with flavour. We will definitely come back again.
