I’m unsure what’s happened. Since they’ve done away with the restaurant part and moved to takeaway only. The quality and taste of the food has changed. Different chef maybe? Either way, it’s not as good as it used to be. Still nice, but no longer the best in the area.
1st visit to this lovely Indian restaurant. The food was amazing. For starters, we had garlic mushrooms and vegetable samosa. For the main, I had the garlic lamb curry, and my partner had a vegetable curry and rice. Both were very tasty. The staff we very friendly but sadly the restaurant is closing on 19th May, they will still be offering takeaway and a delivery service but if you can support a local restaurant YOU MUST try this one. I will definitely be having a takeaway from them in the future. I wish them well, and good luck in the future!!
Two people, starters, mains and sides came to £45. Collection deal of 10% off. Food is absolutely delicious and highly recommended!
Excellent meal at Indus. Crispy poppadoms to start, accompanied with fresh sauces. Chicken madras, pilau rice & a garlic naan for main. Very flavoursome dishes. A few Cobra beers & brandies had during the meal. Will be back for sure.
Had a great meal out at this Indian restaurant with friends on a Friday night. The food was great. Was really busy for a Friday night and thus service was a little slow but left lots of time to talk to friends. Can recommend everything.
Didn't know it had changed ownership. Still good value and same good fish and chips. I like it because they still do gluten free meals. Remember if you want G/ F you have to book.. Monday Tuesday and Wednesday only.
The service and food was great, gave 4 star as the food was too spicy, waiters should have asked about how spicy we wanted the food...
