WOW WOW there are no other words really to express our Christmas experience at the Weld Blundell today. Amazing food Amazing staff. Everyone excelled at making the day PERFECT. With regard to the Chief and all staff in the kitchen one can see imagine how hard they have worked to produced such wonderful food

Just a really good place which is run very efficiently. The 2 shift manager girls are very good. Food is very tasty, breakfasts are quality and great value (they can't be making profit at that price point) and Sunday Roasts are best I've had in a pub. My only complaint, as a fellow business owner and not a customer, is put your prices up for breakfast by a few pound as it won't make a difference to custom but would be more profitable for you as I'd rather you guys still be doing what you're doing in a tough economy for yrs to come rather than falling by the wayside (is there any profit in £4.95 for farmhouse bread, scrambled eggs and unlimited tea or coffee??)

Since it’s taking over, the Weld Blundell has been a favourite to go to as we live locally. We have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every time the food has been great and the service incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is also incredible value for money. We have even held a private function there for my baby shower earlier this year, again a great space to have a private event. Not been to one of the additional events they hold but I’m sure we will in the future. The children’s playground in the back is also a great addition. It is also suitable for disabled mother-in-law. We also appreciate the advanced notice of fireworks on social media, as we have dogs that get stressed. Again another good sign of their involvement with the community ☺️

In my opinion the weld blundell doesn’t get enough credit, the food is absolutely amazing & although it’s tapas the portions are quite generous especially for the price. Obviously Italian food isn’t for everyone but who wants the same old microwaved pub grub? All the dishes are fresh and tasty, including the breakfasts & Sunday roasts. Not to mention the homemade cakes & cheesecakes wow. The staff are very friendly & always go above & beyond and make you feel very welcome even when it’s busy. They also have a bar snacks menu if you just want a light bite & honestly everything is delicious so give it a try & don’t let any negative reviews put you off. Suppose you can’t please everyone!
