Food was disgusting, we come here once every year for special occasions and me and the wife just left this place feeling disgusted with the food, the starters “Prawn Toast” tasted as if the oil needed changing , the salt and pepper ribs just did not taste like salt and pepper , and omg how much fat was on the ribs, the satay chicken the peanut sauce was tasteless , the veg spring rolls again the oil needed changing , I must say they must have lots of pre-ready starters as this came out super quick from when we order and it certainly did not taste fresh, the mains was again disgusting, the beef had a weird taste the chicken tasted watery and the pork was so fatty (see photo of lump of pork) , we complained to the waitress and all she could muster up is that she does not eat pork , not impressed and will never come to this place again

Great restaurant/takeaway. Been going here for years and the food is amazing. The quality of the ingredients and the freshness that's delivered to you is top notch. Plenty of options for everyone. Healthy options, vegetarian/vegan options. Plenty. Everyone has a place in their local area that they love, that they'd be absolutely gutted if it closed and this is mine. Thai food is excellent and they do it so well. I got my first taste of Thai food from Ayutthaya/Thai to go and have kept coming back ever since. The standard never slips.

Have visited twice now. Food and service are both great...however...the second visit was with the family, X2 adults and X2 kids. Visited midweek and ordered from early bird menu and kids. I feel the early bird menu of starter and main is overpriced at £24.50 and around the £20 mark or just under would be more reasonable given it is only only until 5pm through the week. I think the two person banquet options are better value for money overall for a little bit more starting from £27.45 and has no time restrictions on ordering. We ordered X2 kids meals (good value), X2 diets cokes, the X3 starters for £11.50 early bird and the main and start for £24.50 also early bird, plus a bottle of wine. With tip this was just under £90. Due to this being an early bird this is on the pricey side, for a so called cheap meal out with the kids in half term. Please think about your pricing for families visiting on a budget especially on these early bird times. Although the quality of the food is excellent, I would't be likely to return for the early bird option at its current price.

Dining at Ayuthaya was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening. The food was authentic and bursting with flavor — the Thai Green Curry and Duck in Tamarind Sauce were standout dishes that I can’t stop thinking about. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. Whether you’re a Thai food lover or trying it for the first time, Ayuthaya is the perfect spot for a memorable meal.”

Racist Front of House staff, but 5-Star Food! Returning to Liverpool after a long time, I was excited to explore Crosby, having always loved the city and its welcoming people. My excitement turned to shock upon entering this Thai restaurant. My partner and I, both Indian, were met with immediate hostility from the two white women at the front of house. The older woman ignored us, while the younger one reluctantly approached after a whispered exchange, neither offering a smile. Our skin color clearly upset them. When I asked for a table, the younger woman simply walked ahead, dropping menus without a word. They continued to ignore us, chatting loudly. After a prolonged wait, she finally took our drink order. I curtly asked for water, my voice and lack of eye contact making my displeasure clear. Their attitude immediately shifted, and they began to treat us like humans. It's truly unbelievable that this kind of discrimination still happens today. Despite the appalling service, the food was absolutely fantastic—a genuine 5-star experience. I want to emphasise that my review is not a reflection on the hardworking kitchen staff, who deserve immense credit. Discrimination is illegal, and these women urgently need anti-discrimination training or a good talking to! Despite their blatant bigotry, my partner still tipped them £6.50. We believe in treating others with dignity and respect, and we won't let their ignorance change who we are. So, please do eat here but don’t stand for their nonsense if you are met with a similar attitude!

From take away to eating in the food quality is authentic and incredibly tasty. We went later than we normally eat, but was good to see it was still busy. We need to support local businesses, and this is definitely not one you want to miss. Great food, friendly service, and great atmosphere.

Décor very nice, staff very friendly, online booking working perfectly, so really the only problem was the food :( Everything was fresh and prepared with care, but the dishes didn't seem balanced - curries were so sweet that it was hard to keep eating, for a mojito on the other hand I had to ask for extra sugar, because the only thing I could taste was the lime. I'm not an expert on Thai cuisine, but ate a few times at other restaurants and the dishes were never that sweet. My fiancé who loves Thai food was surprised by the levels of sweetness as well and wasn't too satisfied with the mail either. We both ranked the food at 3/5. Fish cakes were nice, but according to my fiancé could be more fragrant. Prawn crackers were good. To sum up, if somebody doesn't mind extremely high levels of sweetness in their meals, they should be very happy with this restaurant and I would definitely recommend.
