   Came in randomly looking for food, was not disappointed. Food was reasonably priced, very tasty. Lovely staff, very friendly. Dogs are welcomed. Kid friendly and wheelchair friendly too. Clean, lovely scenery outside. All in all a very positive experience. Would recommend going.

   Popped in here for a pitstop. Drink and toilet. Lady was very friendly who served me. The pub is very clean and well maintained and seems cozy. Can't comment or rate food because never ate there and the pub was quite due to just opening when I arrived. Managed to take some photos. The pub is situated just off the Liverpool to Leeds canal. In Ormskirk. Great location for when you want to stop off and have a bite to eat/ drink or for a pitstop like I did when walking on a warm sunny day.

   Nice pub. The staff were helpful and friendly. I had a burger which was nice. The beers are JW Lees, so it's ok if you like their beers and they also have cans of Neck Oil and Gamma Ray. They have a big outdoor area with lovely views, a good size car park and the building is lovely. They are dog friendly.

   We stayed here overnight in our Motorhome on the carpark. The staff and owners were very welcoming and friendly. The beer was excellent, and our evening meal was great. It's a very nice clean pub right on the canal side. we will certainly pay the Ship Inn a few more visits, hopefully later in the year.

   Great pub right on the canal. Comfy and cosy inside, great choice to refuel when walking, or warm up when the weather isn't playing ball. Traditional choice of sandwiches or larger meals at lunch time. Went for the fish and chips and wasn't disappointed at all. Coffee was also great. Huge beer garden for when the weather isn't atrocious. Well worth a visit

   Service was brilliant! Staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. Our drink and food orders were taken in 15mins of us arriving. Food came out quickly and piping hot. We had Lamb Roasts and both enjoyed everything on our plates. Would definitely return to try other meals as the menu looked great.

   As we’re in the area for a period of time we’ve popped in previously for drinks and yesterday for food. Whilst limited guest ales available, what we had were excellent. We ordered fish pie, burger and a bottle of wine. It was really good. Best fish pie I’ve had. Great price, staff were friendly and organised. Will be hitting the Friday Chippy Tea night this week! UPDATE…. So we’ve done the chippy night a couple of times now (and several visits in between) and the food/beer and service is awesome. Thankyou.
